Not only the COGIC but all churches that's claim to follow Christ. I grew up in ihe 60s in a southern Baptist church and heard prayers like this. We have allowed too much of the world in our lives,our teachings and even in our prayers. Thank God for the few whom atill teach and pray holiness.

I remembered Bishop Mason being in the pulpit of Mason Temple on Saturday morning with us as children in the Sunshine Band. He sat among us and prayed over us. Traveling through life his prayers have protected me in my foolish activities. The new church has no power. Money is the only subject.....not bless everyone, whose dollars help others buy airplanes What a prayer.... .

Jesus said, "upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."- Mathew 16:13-20. The Church of God In Christ has become a great fallen away. We've brought things into the church that should never have had a place. Homosexual churches, pastors who are openly backsliding and the congregation can clearly see but because he's the pastor they're sticking with him. Women preachers, God gave no woman the right to have authority over a man. But Jesus said, "upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against." "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."- Mathew 7:24-27.

The prayer is just wonderful to hear and reflect on how the God of the Bible was using his servant during the early years of the 1900. Just amazing timeless prayer his relationship in the Holy Ghost is a guide to be studied and honored. Even so Lord Jesus Christ your not done using men to bring to your name.
