It is not that they pick and choose what to stand on. It is that they are under the wrath of God. It is known as judicial blindness (Isaiah 29:9-16 and Matthew 13:11-13). Anyone can say they are Christian. But, eventually, with time, the actions of a vast majority of "Christians" will tell on them. Either subtly or obviously. And, the scary thing is that they don't know it.

My first time hearing of Church Girl was Standard of Truth Podcast, and she exposed the lies propagated with the song. What made the song even more repulsing is how the idea of sampling the song was defended by one of the Clark sisters.

The bible says that when Paul went into Ephesus and they were worshiping Diana he preached Jesus. upon Jesus being preached there was a great change in the city, his testimony would not have brought about a change, testimonies are alright but they are not the gospel. Question?...If Beyonce was allowed to use a sample of Twinkie Clark's music, didn't she have to get legal permission to do so? Isn't there some accountability on Twinkie Clark? Btw , I am not a fan of Beyonce at all and I'm not at all familiar with the song that is spoken of with the sample!

Absolutely there SHOULD be some accountability on TC’s behalf..she would have had to AGREE that Beyoncé’s sampling was a good thing, and dare I say, a “noble” thing. If I’m not mistaken, this was considered “an honor” by the Clark Sister’s themselves. They didn’t care one bit about Beyonces’ use of their material-something that was supposed to be a sacred Worship song dedicated to the Lord God. It’s interesting how the love of money (wealth, notoriety, etc) could lead us to compromise and make unwise decisions. Be careful-Satan is subtle.

I'm not saying you wrong, but these people are still alive. Beyonce is still alive and can be redeemed, something she is going through I wouldn't not wish on my greatest enemy. It's allledged Blue Ivy is pregnant 🤰 I hope this is not true. If so, she is going through Hell right now. As a child , I was taken advantage of in my past and a mother who has girls too. There's no excuse for her behavior. Beyonce grew up in church. She knows about God. There's a difference between distancing yourself from the Lord and blatantly mocking Him and leading people astray. The Lord will redeem her if she humbles her heart, but it she will have to make that decision. The Lord does not force anyone to chose Him.

It was terrible, too. Terrible. Can't unsee or un-hear it. Ledisi was so poised about it. I remember the camera specifically zoning in on her a t one point during that poor performance; the woman didn't flinch - total composure. That had to be hard. First of all, it all lacked anointing. Now, some will make that point that Ledisi isn't a gospel artist. She isn't, but she has sincerity which would've carried over in the song. Bouncy (that's not a typo... that's what I call her) has neither and cannot deliver nary hymn in a manner that's uplifting, let alone that will minister. Notta one.

The bishop is correct however my worry is when the church spends its time addressing these soul sellers. They are doing a what their paymaster told them to do and the paymaster gets happy when you waste prayer time talking about them , Infact it shows that you also watching their stuff. Do you think beyonce will change. Let them be and we get into our lane and use the pulpit as accorded by our own paymaster in his word. When prayers of the saints rise evil won’t find space to breathe.
