I could be wrong, but I remember later in the anime they DEFINITELY said it more than once. before I thought Killua and Gon were 14 but then I saw those scenes and I was just like “welp! nevermind then”

I love how Wing was a stern yet merciful teacher (except for when he got mad at Gon and slapped him 😭), and Bisky is the EXACT opposite. She’s such a harsh, wild teacher, but hey, they learned more under Bisky than Wing so maybe they just needed a more ruthless teacher that would slap ‘em around a bit 😭😭

I remember first seeing Bisky’s character and cringing because I thought she was going to be a forced love interest or something. I was like, “Oh no, this arc is gonna be annoying to sit through…” So Killua immediately and rudely dissing her and Bisky eventually turning out to be one of the most badass ‘BaaBaa’ characters in fiction was really amazing. Expectations subverted successfully
