Lapis being cracked meant that yeah she controlled the earth's ocean, fought all the crystal gems all while essentially dying/being critically injured.

@@sapphirex6156 exactly....lapis was abusive and actually maybe even worse than Jasper in that fusion but ultimately Jasper was to and lapis admitted it and didnt repeat her actions whereas jasper wanted to. I get that Jasper has a personality where being seen as an antagonist makes abusive behavior common and very in line with her role while lapis is displayed as good this doesnt nean that lapis was worse than japser based inherently on the fact that she is supposed to good. There are roles characters are assigned and meant to play but they are ultimately meant to be characters and with Steven universe the goal is to be 3d characters meaning not flat characters only possessing one side to them. I'm not excusing lapis at all as she is in the wrong...but so is Jasperm we just are more.dissapointed for lapis to stop down the a level we have commonly seen Jasper in. But because Lapis changed and Jasper has been give many chances and still hasn't (and as of now cannot unless in the comics it anything else cannon does change) she is still worse

Actually worse is incorrect in that specific situation both were abusive and Lapis was probably worse. I am just saying that as of now Lapis has moved on and mended that learning from her mistakes. She knew what she wss doing and did it anyways but she has shown growth and stopped even when tempted again whereas Jasper had been given so many chances to change and just ultimately hasn't.

​@@catguy1471 Actually both were taking out their frustrations on each other and while it's true that Lapis herself did admit to being abusive to Jasper, it was more of being abusive back as Jasper was the one to initiate the abuse as we clearly see her treat Lapis lazuli poorly in the beginning as her superior. Now this of course doesn't mean that what Lapis did was right as she herself admits that her revenge was wrong especially when we see the end results, where Jasper becomes obsessed with Lapis and Lapis herself starting to even miss Jasper, but to deny that Jasper was herself an abuser and was likely still abusing Lapis back when they were both fighting for control as Malachite is also just as bad.

They were all healed by the diamonds, so they probably don't have any corruption left in them. Just some scars left from it.
