I got mine off eBay for $50 for my room and I love it. Used it throughout the house and I am sold on Bissell.

How's it compared to Shark Apex Uplift?

Have you had to pick up dry cat food from the hard floor? If so, did it perform as on carpet? No snowplowing?

It snowplows a lot. For large debris on hard floors a Shark duoclean or some type of vacuum with a soft roller would be your best bet.

Will you be able to use the bissell multi clean? But the brush is real good with hair tangle free!

Do your wheels squeak on hard floors? Doesn’t sound like it.. I just bought one new and the wheels squeaked SO bad I returned it. Curious if they all do that tho.

Mine did a little. A bit of lube will fix that

Yes! The wheels on mine squeak SO badly and if you look at the reviews on Bissell, that is a rather widespread complaint….along with the brush roll bearings burning out in 6 months or less!!

1 Dyson V11 Outsize, 2 Dyson V10, 3 LG A9, 4 Bissell Icon pet. The Hoover Blade is good but not fantastic. This machine is corded so its not comparable to the cordless machines.

Thank you for this, I bought without reviewing, it was a good deal, and I love bissell . But this review is helpful because directions lose my attention quick 🙈

Glad you liked it. One thing if you have allergies it's not for you. There is no allergen filter in this vacuum

No it doesn't. You need to rest it against a wall.

I just recently bought this vacuum. It’s perfect for my 1 bedroom apartment but I don’t think it would be suitable for a larger space. I’m finding a lot of dirt is getting through the filters which is certain to spell trouble for the lifespan of the motor and the wheels squeak and squeal something fierce! And let’s not forget to address the elephant in the room: this vacuum’s notorious reputation for burnt out brush roll bearings! And the duster attachment is extremely awkward to use due to the NON ADJUSTABLE horizontal angle it’s on. But what’s worst of all?? This vacuum does not stand up on it’s own!! Like…really??!! Oh, and no headlight when other corded vacuums in its price range have one! So, MY verdict?? This vacuum is far from a 10 and there is certainly lots of room for improvement before it will be sufficiently user friendly, HOWEVER, despite it’s list of negatives, there’s something about it that keeps me hanging on and remaining hopeful!

The filtration on this vacuum is really bad. I would look at a Dyson
