Fully disassembled Vac ,Started out no suction
Filter was plugged up, bottom hose to brush bar also was plugged !!

I just did this to my Bissell Cleanview in red. Put all parts in a bucket or plastic bin with dish soap and let it soak and scrub. I then came across this video afterwards. Wow somebody who understands my OCD of vacuum detailing haha.

I have taken mine apart 1x per month since May of 2023 and put back together. For some reason today, I'm having trouble with the filter area😅

My Bissell vacuum never did work right, unfortunately I didn't have a way to take it back to the store.Soon after I got sick and just put it away in a spare closet.Took it out recently hoping like magic it would work better.... DIDN'T

I was cleaning my powerforce compact and little metal piece On black bar popped off need help figuring out how to put it back on and which way it's bar by hose on bottom in the middle of of vaccum any help would be appreciated my first time doing my own matinence and cleaning

I have taken my vacuum apart cleaned everything the belt is fine, but its making a loud sound and vibrating like crazy. Any ideas what that issue is?? My mom has the same vacuum but hers is fine. Im so lost with my issue and cant find anything online to help...other than buy a new one

Thank you for the video. I was able to clean my vacuum thoroughly thanks to you. I have a small issue and I've searched all over the Internet and haven't found a solution to this. When I was cleaning my vacuum, a small metal clip fell out from the bottom section of the vacuum and I haven't been able to figure out where this part belongs. It is a small (about 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch) metal part with the letter 'A' engraved on one of the sides. Thanks in advance for any assistance you provide for this.

I just now had the same problem! From what I see it clips onto the base right in front of those rollers that are on that little detachable hinge. Sorry if I'm not explaining it very well. From what I can see the clip is only there to serve as a kind of a stiffener to help to hold the brush cover in place. At least that's where I'm putting it now! 😄 If it causes problems I'll post it here. I'm thinking that it's not absolutely vital to replace it if that's what it's for. Don't know if you used yours anywhere else or even if you still have it.

How many filters does this model have? I have read that it's supposed to have 2 but I have only ever found the round sponge one inside the lid of the dust bin/canister

some have a thin filter also ,it will work fine with 1 as long as you clean when needed

Thanks for your video. Can this vacuum function without the brush bar? I want to take it out as mine is used mainly on hard floors (tile) and the brush seems to kick dust back and forth on a first pass rather than vacuum it up. Anyone tried this?

This is the exact reason I am here My hose got clogged so I took apart the bottom and cleaned out the hose and then putting everything back together but I have no idea what the spring is for or how to put it back on the vacuum Edit to add he put a link in another comment to have the spring is supposed to look for this vacuum. I have a similar vacuum. The part number for it is 3031120. Also there should be a sticker on the vacuum that has the model number on it & you can go to bissells website & get the exact part for your model

You know anything about dust mites. I moved into this apartment with nothing, I turned on the air/heating and ever since I feel creepy crawlies between my toes. I have figured out I have dust mites, never experienced B4. Just wondering if anyone is educated on how to get rid of them, they don't pay rent😅

The only other thing you should of done was put everything on the concrete instead of the dirt... sorry it's just that my work area is always! Spotless.
