This is not a vacumme cleaner, although the makers say you don't need to vacumme first. It is mainly for solid floor surfaces, but has a rug setting too. I have no rugs, so only used it on my pine wood floors. The machine has a mopping type rolling thing on the bottom, that scrubs the floor with water mixed with cleaning solution. A small bottle of the solution comes with the machine. Dirty water goes into a second compartment. The machine work worked quite well. It isn't very loud, and my floor looks so much better than when I mop it. Best of all, it is so much easier and less messy to use than a mop and bucket! I had a couple of things that might be nice, but not necessary. One is if the cord would retract into the machine instead of having to be managed with one hand. The other is that the amount of floor covered by the amount of solution seemed to be less than stated. But then, I might have gone over the floor more times than intended. I hope I can find the cleaning solution easily, I don't know how available it will be!

This has been a great vacuum for us! We bought it about a year back, and it hasn't given us any issues. As long as we wash both filters weekly, it doesn't have any issues with loss of suction. We use it daily at a 2 story highschool with a lot of square footage, it cleans up stuff like old food, dirt and rocks, paper, ice melt, hair, fabric, plastic etc. I usually fill the canister above the full line on a daily basis. Still, no problems. I'm amazed for a non commercial appliance! 🙏

Just bought this vacuum and I couldn’t believe how much crap it picked up that my other little vacuum didn’t. I live in a small carpeted apartment and nearly filled up the whole thing in one go. Definitely a good vacuum in my opinion so far.

My son and daughter in law bought me a Dirt Devil for my birthday this past January. What a waste of money. That vacuum has been one of the worst that I have ever owned. I’ve been looking at reviews for the Bissell. Some say it’s great and some say it’s not. I guess I expected that. For only $59.00 at my local Walmart I think I’m going to give it a try. I can always return it if it doesn’t perform well. I enjoyed your video and opinion of the Bissell.
