Wow! That cyclone system is horrendous. Even Shark cyclone system is 10 times better than this. Everyone using this should get a second set of pre motor filters. When one set is drying. Second set is in use.

Bissell I believe claims that you need to dust the foam filter after every use of the vacuum to prevent clogging. This right here is exactly why I prefer the bagged versions of these vacuums. You don't have this huge mess to deal with and they have HEPA bags that you can use as well.

for a cheap and free vacuum i think it works pretty good. agitates the carpet better than any dyson i have used.

I suspect most of the fine dust ended up in the filter. I remember having one of these and it needed that pre-filter cleaned without exception every time. The cyclonic separation in them is really... not good.

I agree with a lot of comments here. Height adjustment needs the be lowered a tad.

I’ll take an old school bagged vacuum with a HEPA bag any day over this.

I'm a proud owner of a 1979 Kirby Tradition. I have named it Dante. I don't know why but I name vacuums. To give them personality and character I guess.

I think you need to set the height adjustment to low cuz the pitch of the motor should sound normal like it grooms carpets
