This is my favorite vacuum ever. I was using my mother in laws Dyson after my Hoover blew a fuse and continued doing so, and had to get my own when we gave it back. This was $48 at Walmart and I will never purchase another brand again. I have two dogs and I promise this picks more dirt up than the Dyson or Hoover ever did in their lives. Love, love, love my Bissell! They’re also sponsoring and have donated a lot to the animal shelter I adopted my dogs at, so it was nice to see their pet foundation in the works.

I have two kitties and this vacuum is awesome for picking up hair🌼 litter, and dust. Though the plastic seems cheap, I haven’t had issues in the few months I’ve had it. I love this thing!

I love this vacuum. I’ve only had it three months as a replacement to my Shark Navigator that lost suction and died. This is a powerful, lightweight vacuum. I have wall to wall carpet throughout my house, three dogs and busy teens, I’m constantly cleaning. I was surprised at its performance. 👍🏽

This is the best vacuum cleaner design I've ever encountered in my 61 years of cleaning homes. It works amazing and it couldn't be easier to use and maintain. Incredible. It only cost $59, too! I've spent over a thousand dollars on a vacuum cleaner before and THIS is the one that I continue to use (and have purchased more for my children). You do need to clean the filter regularly but it's super easy to do. I rinse in warm water and then squeeze it repeatedly until the water that I squeeze out is clean.

*i have the same vacuum and i already cleaned it and everything but the canister seems to be throwing air out from my left side when i vacuum. It does suck up dirt and when it throws the air out there's no dirt mixed into it, it's just air. Is this normal? I've never noticed it before*

Just got this vacuum from the thrift store and it wasn't picking up trash so I looked at this video and it works like BRAND NEW thanks so much for this video 😌😃😊 saved me lots of money

Same. It does clean up and suck up dirt but it also throws up air from the left side when I vacuum. Idk if that's normal or if mine just tweaking

I ordered this off eBay it's supposed to arrive on Wednesday may 6 I wanted to check the price because I got it for 39.99 and I googled surch and this video showed up in the feed and now I see it's high maintenance yikes.. I already have a vacuum but I accidentally sucked a quarter inside it works on kitchen floors ect.. This one seems like it will be a pain in the ass I clean the floor then have to clean the vacuum my question is how often do I need to clean the filter I know obviously I need to dump and clean the other part but wow this is nothing like just changing the vacuum bag after it's full... I have a bissle carpet cleaner I love so I decided to buy this but fresh I didn't know it was high maintenance lol 😂😂😂

Unfortunately, this vacuum is not a sealed system and does not have a HEPA filter, which can be a problem if you have allergies.

I Just bought one and for the price it is it’s actually really good. My mom loves it and she was surprised when she used it today. She was anticipating weak suction. I love it

I've had this vacuum for 2.5 years and it still works very well with strong suction. Of note, up to this point, i've never cleaned the foam filter and it still works great!

just bought 1700 series, looks simple enough. will try it tomorrow; never had a Bissell vacuum, only knew of your carpet cleaners, i spose it was a logical step.

Thank you. I clean mine periodically but wanted to do a more thorough cleaning today. I couldn't figure out how to get the pre-motor filter out until I watched this video. I even called Bissell but I was on hold forever so I hung up. I absolutely love this vacuum. I have had it three years and have had no issues with it. Previously, I was replacing other brand vacuums regularly. I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner. Thanks again.

One of the only vacuum brands my Dad and I have ever used, always great, and reliable. I have had my for a little over a year now and it works like a charm! I finally took the parts in this video and gave them a good cleaning and I was surprised at how much buildup was in there, and how well it still worked. BISSELL will definitely continue to be my go to brand

I like my Bissell vacuums but I wish the bottom plate was easier to remove. It's a major hassle whenever I have to replace a belt, clean the roller of threads, or unclog a clog. I have an older Sharp that has a simple slide button release.

There seems to be a filter they didn't cover. It's below the dirt container and I can't seem to find out how to get to it and everytime I turn it on, it spews tons of dust. Counterproductive. Help.

I just unboxed this item today. Easy. It vacuumed so much more stuff than my 10 year old vac. I saw sand. Lots of it. Great vacuum for the price. During assembly, I noticed the one hose connection at the top just sticks straight out instead of a 90-degree turn. My mind was just saying "That's gonna get hit or crushed and break at the joint some day. Why didn't they angle it down?"It puzzled me in design.

Love the vacuum, but ever since I took it apart to clean it and put it back together, it's now hard to move the vacuum and it's not cleaning as well. I followed the directions but I don't know what is wrong. Can someone give me pointers in the cause of this? Please.

Hard to move on the carpet? Maybe you accidentally switched it to high carpet instead of bare carpet? Or the roller got stuck bc long hair.

You may have a clog or dirty firsts. Try the steps shown in this video for cleaning the filter and checking for clogs, it should help!

Sorry for the confusion! On the 1700 PowerForce, the post motor filter is not accessible to clean.

see I have theose fance vaccum I colet them and I have ahd every 1 of your power force helix vacuum but this 1 just looks so I don't want to say cheap but it is a $40 vacuum so you may want to make a vacuum more like a Kirby but with out the kirbys $1000 to $5000
