Visibility is not bad and exploring trans issues on screen is valuable. We have so little representation that I'm thirsting to see this movie since it was announced. But yes, trans women should be able to play all roles for women. This especially applies to trans women who don't pass as cis nearly as well as Nicole. However I have the feeling that you'd prefer for trans characters to not exist at all? I mean what is "tied to transgender" even supposed to mean?

@@kayleekayt3306 No not at all was I stating or implying I'd rather not see those characters, I was only stating that if your a Transwoman and an actor there's no reason they should only be cast in just those roles, Nichol is a woman now and she's an actor so my point is why not just cast her in a movie or TV show simply just as a woman not a trans who become a woman, in a way its like they are type cast in that way. Example Colton Haynes originally on Teen Wolf played a straight guy for the first 3 seasons, after he left and went to Arrow he still played a straight guy, but during that time he came out as being Gay, Then in Teen Wolf's final season he returned and the Producer then changed his character to being gay, Why? was that necessary just because he's gay in real life. Thank the Producers of Arrow they did not change his character of Roy's sex on that show as I loved his relationship with Thea. Same with Malcom Myerlyn the actor is gay in real life but on Arrow he's straight.
