This really is the halving dump miner reshuffling. If anything the mining companies most likely to fail is what to pay attention to right now. Marathon has taken place as the largest corporate mining company and has fresh supply to sell to Blackrock and Coinbase. All other companies are filling their orders and getting ready to buy new mining equipment from bitmain. America has the gold rush and China is happily selling shovels. 6-9 months from now all the preorder equipment sales happen and these corporate mining companies grow further apart in terms of success. If you did not have 100 million dollars to dump into a new bitcoin mine in 2015, You never had a chance.

@@AndrewFlower Historically cycle typically starts 5-6 months after halving. The only catalyst that constituted a growth in price was ETF adoption. There is no other variable here.

No. Fox News and the other news outlets regularly report on BTC niw that its apart of legacy and they are all over the up coming halving. Markets are forward looking and they've been stacking since February to sell the news when the halving occurs. Also, there are strong recession storms ahead and BTC has never been through a proper recession so past cycles are kinda out the window this halving cycle.

The schism between religions/ideologies is secondary and a confounding factor. Though states undoubtedly play upon this, that doesn't mean leaders in countries like say Iran do not also hold those religious beliefs. Worth understanding K-wave theory suggests a ramp up in tensions and wars into a 2027 peak, though interpretations vary on that date it does sadly appear to be playing out , perhaps that peak will be China invading Taiwan and a 'Lehman' like catalyst for the next GFC?

Great info mate You've previously said that when the intrest rate cutting cycle starts it normally marks the top within 0-3 months If we continue to hike or remain the same for the next 3-4 months will this also push the cycle back further and possibly lead us to a right translated cycle?

Gaps tend to fill - when prices gaps up at open or close, those gaps on the chart tend to see the price trade back into that gap to complete it / fill the hole on the chart - now we have done so, we can move higher as the downside target for day traders has been filled

My general thesis on this whole ETF narrative has been this is a rescue operation for some big fish caught offside in 21/22. Happy to be wrong but I am staying away for now.

Sometimes people zoom out too much on those charts. BTC was in a falling wedge for a while now (4hr chart) and 'faked out' to the downside, bounced right on fib and is now pumping. I have been watching it all evening yesterday waiting for a breakout which didnt happen until this morning. The sell pressure was clearly drying out.

Hey Camel, just wanted to share a couple of thoughts. I know previously you mentioned the stock to flow target of 500k + top this bull market doesn't line up with your left translated cycle, but I saw some data recently which I thought was interesting. Basically it says that the remaining Bitcoin left on centralised exchanges will dry up within 6 months. I wonder if that would trigger the ultimate god candle and blow off top around October/November. Just thought I would share that.

Sell in May and go away isn't because the month of May itself is red. In fact, you want May to be green when you sell. It's because the months BETWEEN May and October are red.

If BTC is leaving behind a cycle low but the S&P is heading to its low (like these last weeks), the chances of having a failed or a consolidation cycle for BTC are high. BTCs correlation to the downside with the markets is well proven and it's very seldom to see BTC in a sustained uptrend against other risk assets. Therefore, this is a call you can make in advance. The low is also due to the tax paying period (after such gains). Regarding geopolitics, I imagine Israel is not counting cycles to respond. However, it's interesting that these attacks occur in saturday, when just crypto is open.

I agree mate - my base case for bitcoin is the consolidation cycle. That is an interesting point - I think the cycles happen and humans attach whatever is in the news as a pseudo-explanation. I do think we are close to a low in the stock market. Time will tell.

My suspicion for quite some time has been that the cycle theory has been wrong from the start, and only appeared to carry water because the 4yr cyclicality of the btc halving happened to roughly align with the 4yr cyclicality of the global debt markets. It’s only a hunch, as I don’t have the background to properly judge that theory, but it might be right, in which case I’d expect that this time the pattern will break. But, to be clear, I’m not making any hard claims. I’m only saying that the 4yr halving block reward theory makes absolutely no sense at all, and I don’t think it’s likely that easy money comes back for a good long while from here. We’ll have to let time tell.

I think we either go sideways into the next low or we chop a bit more and make one slightly lower low into the next cycle low. those are the 2 things I see as most likely
