Bitcoin isn’t a hedge against inflation, it’s a hedge against monetary debasement. It’s the solution to inflation if you opt into Bitcoin with the right strategy.

In this conversation, I'm perceiving the phrase "you can only invent digital scarcity once" newly - what I've discovered about it is that the causal assertion of fact that prompts this insight is the novelty of the idea itself... (In other words, to the extent that people aren't already thinking in terms of scarcity as a critical element in a store of value, and then on top of that, embodying the form of this thing in a digital manner [and given the priors here, intuitively it should sound like an oxymoron - meaning, there's good reason to be able to characterize computer networks as non-rivalous copying machines]) And what's perhaps most fundamental in hence thus overlooked, is the mimetic act of valuing social agreement... It's quite unique that money, on the scale of something that is so simple (it's non-fungible, meaning it's all uniform in whatever degree of fraction), is almost inversely powerful (ie, the reduction in friction by using the same medium of exchange is maximized in the case of a universal money)

Bitcoin is a hedge and solution to inflation. Look at the dollar and Bitcoin over the last 14 years. The best inflation hedge in history.
