However, when I tried to understand it, I realized that it's not just one field; it encompasses various domains. Could you please guide me on which specific field to pursue? Also, My final question is whether any field in Cyber Security involves the use of tools to perform tasks such as detections, etc. If tools are involved, can someone who is somewhat weak in programming still perform tasks like penetration testing, security analysis, etc ?

Please Advise... what if we are in SOC.....small project SOC where you have to do everything like everything email security incident response, EDR, iam, VA, compliance, siem, integration development, cloud.... And your team size + skillset of everyone is also limited..... everything have to be done by R&D. .... What to do in this case ??? Please advise!!!

Bro I want to start my career in cybersecurity but I don't know if I should join any institute or do any certification. I don't want to spoil my parents hard earned money just like please enlighten me where should I start and which profile should I aim. By the I'm BSc CS graduate which I have done in 2014. What about security researcher. In what domain does it came under and what is the roadmap to sec researcher and what is the scope of malware analysis. I did programming for 3 years and i dont enjoy running tools for everything i feel like a script kiddie .
