Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 Glad to see you're back with this track from the new album, bummer to hear about your GC! first reaction for some of you, hope this will stay up.🙏 Here's some basic info i tried to left in your missed reaction: BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal". They are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24. *YuiMetal* scream and dance, former member since 2018. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 20 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said. METALIZM is another song with that typical wtf effect they get us used to it. Queen SuMetal is narrating us a King's tale of the Metal Kingdom with this psytrance mixed with middle eastern, maybe Arabian or whatever sound that looks so cool with the unique blend of BM. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with the already new official member MomoMetal, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and coming from the same roots in Sakura Gakuin just like the girls. The Western Kami Band was performing there but this MV got album studio sound so there's no particular credits for the instruments only the composer and lyrics. Some fans at Sabaton's Europe Tour and later at Asian and Australian Tour were enjoying this song live, but everyone were having a blast with the new singles and classic BM songs. Here's the list of live performance clips safe to reacts without any filters, usually, there are some exceptions: - Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! live at Legend 1997, SuMetal 16th Birthday in 2013, they got MV of this and is fun, but live is a blast. "Gans Tomas" got this under Head Bangya title. - Akatsuki, live at Budokan 2014, this is a SuMetal solo. "BabyMetal Fans Ecuador" and "アカツキBabymetal" got the Black Night version (the safest one) - Megitsune, official MV is my first recommendation but is usually blocked if you don't put filters, so if you want live and safe to react, check it out Budokan 2014. "Kawaii Metal" got this. - Akatsuki Unfinished Version, SuMetal solo again but with only a piano behind special performance at Legend 1997. There's a widescreen with subtitles version at "Kitsune Sama". - Babymetal Death, live at Legend 1997, this is the big finale, you're gonna blow your mind with this one. You can find this with the introduction translated at "GuilhermeCait". - Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere Festival 2014, sometimes the official live MV isn't so friendly so you know what to do. - Karate live at Download Festival 2016, "kitsune6001" got this clip with a short interview intro. - Catch Me If You Can with Kami Band intro live at Budokan 2014. GuilhermeCait got it safe to react. - Doki Doki Morning, official MV, their very first song and MV full of kawaiiness, usually is safe to react so try it, if you want a live performance, this is the first proshot version with the Kami Band live at Legend 1999 (YuiMetal and MoaMetal 14th birthday). Another one in "Kawaii Metal". - Uki Uki Midnight, this one is a follow up to Doki Doki Morning but way different sound, this is the PV, is super fun but the sound isn't so great but at least is live. "Kitsune Sama" got this version. If you want better sound with the Kami Band, then live at Budokan 2014 is the choice at "Kawaii Metal". - Onedari Daisakusen, live at Legend 1997, this is a Black Babymetal song, is a subgroup with only YuiMetal and MoaMetal. "Gans Tomas" got this. - Iine! again official MV hits way better but if you want live, then live at Budokan 2014 is the best choice at "BM REMASTERED". - Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai - Answer For Animation With You, live at Budokan 2014, not sure if it's still safe, so try some filters, if is audio blocked try to mute or just cut the parts. "BABYMETAL FANS ECUADOR" got this one. - Distortion, live at Download Festival 2018 or Rock Am Ring 2018, this is from Metal Galaxy 3rd album and is a safe jump to that BM era way different than the rest and without YuiMetal. Ok that's it for now, just remember that I'm not saying those are the best version of their songs, all I'm saying those are the safest to react while conserving decent quality on video and sound. There's certainly better versions at BMRR (Reactor Resource) such those from 2015 and 2016, so remember to check it out that alternatively, although those will certainly need watermarked logo at least, so look for "Future Plans" short vid and follow instructions to get the full spreadsheet, trust me is easy and safe to get there. Here's some "undercover" titles songs you can find at Babymetal Reactor Resource (BMRR), (look in the description for clean version): - "Angry Sis", original title is "Sis Anger" live at Tokyo Dome 2016. - "Y_A_V_A" original title is "YAVA!" live at Big Fox Festival 2017 with Kami Band intro (this one is tricky so take more precautions). - "Dis-tor-tion" original title: "Distortion" live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 - "G J" original title is "GJ!" live at Wembley Arena 2016, another Black Babymetal song. - "TOTD" original title is "Tales Of The Destinies" live at Tokyo Dome 2016, leave this song along with "The One" after hearing a couple of more songs and traveling a little bit more of this journey, both songs are tied together so watch this one first. - "Hilarious Midnight", original title is "Uki Uki Midnight" live at New Year Fox Festival 2015. - "Line", original title is "Iine!" live at Saitama Super Arena 2015. - "MoaBanger" original title is "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" live at Legend M 2019 MoaMetal 20th Birthday, is an special version with MoaMetal singing the second part of the song, so watch the Legend 1997 first. - "CMIYC", original title is "Catch Me If You Can" live at MetRock 2015 with Kami Band intro, you already heard this song but this version hits way different, highly recommended if you like this song and wanna come back. - "FDTD", original title is "From Dusk Till Dawn" live at Budokan 2021, this song is from Metal Resistance 2nd album when YuiMetal was still in the group but there was no proshot version until last year.

Great reaction, thanks! "METALIZM" is a rarity in all its aspects... even for us the fans. The minor scale used, the onomatopoeic use of the name of the song, the lack of an actual chorus, replaced by two guitar solos. I prefer the live version (this MV has the studio version over the PIA arena concert visuals). I consider myself lucky to have experienced this one live during my very first BABYMETAL concert last year. I'm currently in Japan, about to see them twice in a big format show next Saturday and Sunday. 😊 Until next time! 🤘🦊

Great reaction! Keep going! Most of their songs are very focused on Su's vocal talents. I'd recommend Akatski (unfinished version) or No Rain No Rainbow, but you really can't go wrong ❤🦊🤘

Great reaction! Jake gave you a lot of great suggestions and performances to check out in his comment, but I would also add Monochrome from the PIA Arena show as a great one for checking out vocals along with the Megitsune and Akatsuki performances he suggested. As a matter of fact, this is one of the lightest songs they have in terms of vocals, so if that's what you're after, you will find it with the majority of their songs.

Great reaction, and welcome to Babymetal! I was watching your Gimme Chocolate reaction when it was taken down, bummer! The gals are ~10 years older here from the Gimme Choco video as well, and have a much more mature feel. Suggestions for vocals: *Akatsuki (Budokan 2014):* Lead Su-metal solo. Love ballad, but Babymetal style. She’s 16 here. *Road of Resistance (Official Live):* A “classic” power metal anthem, and amazing crowd engagement. *Megitsune (Official MV):* A quintessential early Babymetal classic, and a song empowering modern girls to shed restrictive stigmas to be themselves. *Light and Darkness (Pia Arena MM, 2023):* A slightly chill but epic vibe, and amazing vocals from a more mature Babymetal. Same concert as Metalizm. *Monochrome (First Take Piano Version):* Stripped down, vocals, piano and strings. Highlights lead Su-metal’s vocals. *Monochrome (Pia Arena MM, 2023):* The full, hard hitting hard rock yet melodic version of above. *From Dusk Till Dawn (Budokan 2021):* Su shows off her vocal range. Register so high I thought it was a keyboard lol. 100% in English. *Catch Me If You Can (Budokan 2014):* Band highlight, ultra cute, ultra brutal, not vocal heavy, but a fun song about hide and seek lol. I suggest their performance of Monochrome on The First Take. Almost all the instrumentation is stripped away and all that's left is Su's amazing voice. But the live performance of Monochrome is definitely worth watching too.

I think you would be a big fan of there older stuff like "Catch me if you can" "Headbanger" Etc But always watch them live when you can Except "Karate" and "Megisune" those are pretty good video's, Oh and Ijime Dame Zettai is really good live also. Looking forward to your reactions🙂

This is from their last album “The Other One” which is pretty different from the others - it’s VERY good but nowhere near as in your face as the others - I love it. One of their older staples would be “Ijime, Dame, Zettai” that covers all the bases, “Karate” and “Megitsune” do too.

Great reaction. Real shame about your 'Gimme Chocolate' reaction disappearing (not least because I had just typed out a huge comment full of their history and explaining 'BABYMETAL Death' for you as well - I think that song confused you a lot) ... It is just an intro song to hype the crowd at the start of the concert, but it is also based on a pun - the Japanese word desu (the U is silent) means to be, I am, you are, we are, it is etc and the English word death sounds to a Japanese speaker like desu spoken with a slight lisp. That whole song they are spelling out BABYMETAL then introducing themselves by name "Su-metal desu", "Yuimetal desu", "Moametal desu", "BABYMETAL desu" On 'METALIZM' - "METALIZMIZUMIZUMU" - great song - Middle Eastern/Egyptian/Arabian (or similar) Psy-trance metal at its best.🤘🦊🤘 I love Su-metal's vocals in this one, but yes they have pretty much replaced the chorus with guitar solos ... but they don't follow any of the usual rules on what they will or won't include in a song, they do what they want and they make it work. There is no other band quite like BABYMETAL, they are that most rare thing, a band that is both original and unique. They have nearly 70 songs now, each one different to the last. They have songs in virtually every metal genre, but they will also mix or blend countless other musical styles and genres with the metal. Some songs are good hard metal some lean towards their pop roots and they do everything in between - and a couple of songs that you wouldn't know where to fit it. You will not predict them, just learn to expect the unexpected - they will not let you down ... and if you're not so keen on one song try another and the chances are you will love it. Songs with more vocals - most of their songs are about the vocals in one way or another. Just a few to get you started: 'Monochrome' live at PIA Arena, Clear Night 'Shine' ideally live at Legend M from 2019 'Megitsune' live at PIA Arena Clear Night 'Karate' live at Download UK 2016 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' live at Sonisphere UK 2014 'Road of Resistance' live in Japan I could extend that list with a load more titles ... there is time to do that in the future if you like what you hear.

There's plenty of songs with her vocals which can and will you to tears with how powerful she can sing. Its best to react to live performances if possible even tho the studio is great also. I would recommend road of resistance live in Japan, ijime dame zettai live in Sonisphere, headbanger legend 1997,rondo of nightmare live Budokan with mischief of metal gods intro, Akatsuki budokan black night and catch me if you can budokan live. That's just a few to get you guys started and welcome to the fox hole 🤘🦊🤘

Yea, this song is more instrumental song...Every other song has more vocals...I suggest Babymetal - Monochrome (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs Babymetal - Maya (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs or in my opinion the best of that concert Babymetal - Metal Kingdom (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs Try those 3!!!😊😊

Welcome to Babymetal! Very nice reaction!! If you want more vocals, you will want to avoid the following songs. Babymetal Death, In The Name Of, and Future Metal. All other songs have plenty of vocals. I especially like Akatsuki, Ijime Dame Zettai, Divine Attack, or Monochrome. Of course other suggestions will be great too. oops, sounds like you already saw Babymetal Death??

Monochrome at Pia is good (try to avoid any babymetal "official" in general if possible - they often cut out leadins/intros) - good reaction!

Yeah, the vocals in this song are not the standard BabyMetal vocals. Just about every song is more vocal heavy except for this one and a few others, LOL.

Every Babymetal song is unique, the depth and quality of their discography is amazing. Most bands you can react to 3-4 songs and you'll have a good sense of them; I love AC/DC but they themselves have said they've produced 13 albums that sound the same. Not Babymetal. You can react to 30 songs and they'll all be different. Try Monochrome live at Pia Arena and also the piano version on The First Take (amazing song, so good you should react twice). Ijime, Dame Zettai (No More Bullying Forever) live at Sonisphere 2014 to see how incredible they were at 15 and 16yo. Megitsune (try the channel For The Fox God for subtitles)... the list is long
