God I've never been this hyped when making a project. This video originally was supposed to be the sketch for the finished project, but I ended up spending more and more time making the images. Result, the start is kinda sketchy and the end more worked on :joy:
A member of my familly once came to me and gave me the game as a gift. I had never heared of it before and I played it without knowing anything. And OH BOI I enjoyed and cried over it so hard. I can't wait for silksong to come out, I really want to know more about their world, good luck Team Cherry !
I'm really hyped, this is my first time making animation in Paint Tool sai and the first time editing everything in Vegas pro. I like it so much, I'm planning on making more of theses soon ! Also tomorrow, I'm leaving to Japan ! I'm gonna travel here till the 24 of july, and I'm planning to make a vlog about it ! Tell me if you're interested in this project xdd

I know I'm a year late but like- "I drown in the ideal everyone wants." The 'Pure Vessel' was seen to be the perfect being, devoid of mind and will of its own. Yet we can see that even the void beings can develop these things, and ultimately the Pure Vessel failed because it felt a sense of duty to its father, the king. It wanted so badly to do what was best that it developed a weakness the Radiance could exploit. Kind of ironic in that sense.

It's pretty dark, Hollow Knight would be thrown away if he told he had feelings and thought about Pale king as his father. But why did Pale King go into hiding if he was so sure about the sealing the Radiance? What if he knew, but couldn't put his kingdom's safety over the child he started to love? No cost too great

I've always felt bad for the Sealed Vessel because he just wanted to be the son that his father wanted, but failed. He wasn't meant for the job, but he wanted to be. The little tid-bit where the statue is crying in that one animation in the game just makes me feel like he's actually crying because his father is gone and... that makes me sad ;-;

@@izanagi5136 It didn't break him, that's just how he was born. Honestly I don't think a purely hollow vessel can be achieved. Also, the vessel wasn't going to work: the radiance had to be tackled head-on and destroyed, other way she was just going to break out of the vessel eventually because, well, you need a mind to have a dreamscape to have the radiance trapped in.

When i saw the pure vessel stabbing himself. My first thought was " Why was he stabbin himself " and to be honest was confused as hell but then later i relized that he wanted you to kill him and tried to Help you kill him and even though he got infected he is still AWARE on whats happening that i hit me really hard T^T ( Oh and i think the Pure vessel/the hollow knight knows Grim and its SO CUTEEEEEE )

I personally find the pale king is a good guy. Sure he did a lot of questionable stuff, but It was all for the great or good. You have to lose some to win some. The line "No cost to great" even proves the pale king was unhappy about what he had to do. He had to sacrifice all of the vessels to save all the other bugs in the kingdom and even other kingdoms from the radiance's infection. He had to make the sacrifice in order to keep the radiance at bay.

This... This is amazing. It's the best Hollow Knight animation out there, and I felt like you got the scenes perfectly. Even the character's designs were matched with the in-game ones! Some clips were animated so smoothly. Animations like this from creators like you inspire and encourage me to continue on my animations that I've pretty much dumped. All I can say is: thank you.
