when you go into this game blind and you're a grass type and your partners a dragon-type and the final is Bittercold I'm just like this is going to hurt

sometimes I wonder what it would be like if Mystery Dungeon, or just the spin-offs/other media in general were allowed to introduce their own unique Pokémon, sorta like how Digimon does things. this idea's fascinated me ever since I learned Lugia was originally meant to be a movie-exclusive Pokémon that *wasn't* designed by GameFreak. the only two named "non-canon" Pokémon we've gotten were Thu-fi-zer (aka Zapmolcuno, the Kanto birds fusion from Adventures) and MechaMew2 (robot Pokémon made by Team Rocket in the Pokémon Live musical). and those two are based directly on existing mons. stuff like bitter cold's fascinated me more ever since I started thinkin about this stuff.

Haven't played this game but i heard this in a compilation of super mystery dungeon final battle themes and this one absolutely SLAPS

I've never played gates to infinity, but I think this battle theme is on par with dialga's fight to the finish, yes I'm a bit bias towards to explorers of time seeing as that was my first mystery dungeon game

The battle is Cool and all but how do I dodge that one attack where the boss sends a pillar of snow at your pokemon dealing near 1 hit KO damage and instantly freezes any bird pokemon in the party? P.S. the move turns out to be called "Snowgrave".
