This is the unheard soundboard recording of the 4th November Earls Court gig, which was then mastered at Rockfield Studios. But it never surfaced and was stored away for 20 years until I finally had it converted this month.
Yes we can watch the gig online already, but its pretty bad quality.
Time to feel like you're there in the crowd!

Imagine knowing this sort of thing is in the vaults, and still letting Familiar to Millions out. What were they thinking?! This is absolutely amazing. Sound quality, headroom (no VHS compression etc). Well played Kyle.

Unfortunately it wasn't in the vaults that's the issue. It was a lost tape for 20 odd years.... but still.. JILY was there... and that's a belter

@@BittersweetHome I keep wondering what happened to the stuff they/Noel did with Death in Vegas and Amorphous Androgynous. The 20-odd minute version of Shoot a Hole Into The Sun is just on another level. Is there more of that, though? I wouldn't be surprised. Noel said he deleted it, but the man keeps demos for a decade before finishing them, so... Imagine reforming and then touring all that psychedelic madness eh?

This recording just blows your head off. Liams vocals arguably the best of his career, huge guitars, Guigsy's bass monstrous, and Alan White's colossal drumming. Just a monster performance.

One of my favourite drummers. He helped Oasis to the next level on WTSMG. This isn't a dig at Tony, who will always be the guy that drummed on one of the finest albums of all time, but Alan's superior technique and skill elevated the material Noel was writing at the time. His little flourishes, the syncopation and the fills that have become legendary all contributed towards Oasis' finest period imo.

The Earls Court shows remain the best I've heard them. This sounds epic, THAT voice. Really hope someone takes on the back catalogue down the line and handles it better. The box sets are full of tat and bar the chasing the sun stuff we get very little in the way of new material. Bootlegs are a 90s thing, KZfaq is better than nothing but get the good stuff properly released! Thanks for sharing 👍
