The clouds, due to the eternal love for the mountains still hang around them to this day…… Scene: Opens in a hotel - Interior WAITER Hello….Sir… WAITER (CONT”D) What can I get you? GIRISH I am waiting for someone…. can you come after sometime. WAITER Okay…Sir MEGHA Hi.. MEGHA (cont’d) …. Sorry to keep you waiting MEGHA Wow… it’s such a nice weather…isn’t it…? It looks like it will rain MEGHA So…. how are you doing? GIRISH I thought I will never see you again MEGHA How can I not come after what you did to yourself…I wanted to meet you as I felt it is really necessary for us to talk GIRISH There is nothing to talk about MEGHA So you still think what you did was right? GIRISH Yes…. I had no other option MEGHA I still can’t believe you would do such a thing? I was so angry with you? GIRISH You left me so suddenly, why would you bother? Very touching story! In the middle of the film, I predicted the climax..... It made me cry out… I can relate to this story.. A few months ago, I have suddenly lost my dear one at a very young age. With teary eyes i just pray for her ...May God rest in peace her holy soul..🙏💐

Amazingly, 💓 touching love story movie! Teaching........ don't ever be over possessive in relationship, if you come across break ups it's fine because it's pretty common. But I would say rather love your parents unconditionally because of whom there is your being under the sun.

I don't remember exactly how many times I watched this short movie. Such a touching piece of work, Both have done very nicely. As many people commented below, I could not control my tears when I watched at first, I literally cried in dark. Mostly I watched it in Tamil.

Please find below the summary and mise-en-scene of the short film. ***Spoilers Ahead*** A Bittersweet Love Summary:  It is a one act play. The screenplay is such that the audience is manipulated into thinking that it is about a break-up until later when we realize that she is indeed dead. The background story (about her sudden demise and his reaction to it) is left open to audience's imagination. During the course of the conversation, he requests to be with her but in reality he is requesting to join her in afterlife by taking his life. She convinces him that Love is eternal and loved ones will always be around us like the clouds that hang around a mountain as analogized in the prelude to the film. Mise-en-Scene  His name is Girish - which means a mountain and her name is Megha which means the clouds. They symbolise the Hindu purana recited at the start of the film (prelude) which proclaims that the eternal love between the mountains and the clouds.  The initial clouds are dull and overcast whereas the ending clouds are bright. It is a visual hint that he came without any hope and in the end there is brightness in life as he has new found hope.  We have used differential lighting to reflect the mood of the characters. For the heroine we have used much higher illumination lighting to make her look serene and full of joy as she is an angel and for the hero we have used gloomy lighting to show his emotional state as he is in depression.  The setting of the flowers in the vase on the table are placed such that the white flowers are in the foreground of the frame when we show Girish to show his pessimism, hopelessness and his doomed state of mind and when we show Megha the red flowers are in foreground to depict the joy she radiates and the hope that she wants to instil in him.  Similarly in composing shots we have used a visually rich and brighter background while showing her and his background is intentionally left simple and bland to reflect their respective moods.  She is dressed in white to show she is an angel and is looking bright with a lot of optimism.  The White feather is a symbol of for her being an Angel and the purity of their love.  The Editing pattern is such that initially it is very slow and romantic and at the twist it is fast and picks the pace and the camera moves closer to the characters as the emotions build.
