Quality videos as always mate, a cracking variation of mountains, kayaks, bushcraft and fast packing over the last month or so. I love getting out for a bit of fast packing, you get to cover so much varied terrain over a couple of days, and like you say it’s great exercise for the dogs too!

Another great video that takes me back to my youth - Brimham Rocks and Almscliff Crag we’re the places I learnt to climb as a teenager in the 70’s. We slept out there a few times !!!

Great video and helpful kit reviews. I do a lot of trail running and I'd bought a couple of pairs of the Rab Talus women's shorts before I watched this vid - they are the most comfortable trail running shorts I've found by a long way. I didn't realised they had the pockets in the liner until I watched your film!!!! 🤣🤣

Great as always Al, good to see blue again. I'm interested to see the backpack I have an old montane one it has same issue with elastic chest straps these quickly lost the stretchiness and needed replacing. Just packing for trip to the lakes to hot on south coast. Cheers Chris

Hey Al, great vid and in a top notch area. I do try my best to catch your videos but with all this nice weather I'm always out and about in the countryside. Just back from 3 days camping in Eskdale, Cumbria. Funny you should mention the straps slipping. I seem to have that problem on all 3 of my Osprey packs and also the belt on my ME Ibex pants. Anyway. Glad to see yourself and Blue enjoying the great weather.

Yep it's epic out here. Staying in Bourg-d'Oisan, had a bad start on Saturday as I crashed when decending Alpe d'Huez, I clipped a curb after one of the hairpins and went down. Some bad road rash on my right leg and chest but I'll survive!😁 Then rode the e'tape du Tour de France race yesterday which is the same route as this year's stage 12 of the Tour on Thursday. Temperature reached 38°C at its peak, it was brutal and very tough! Only 8634 finished from over 12,000 who started! I came 2697th!😄 Easier day today then back on it tomorrow. Looking forward to the next video 👍

I reckon you must have run the length of two marathons going backwards and forwards to pick up the camera. Great vid as allways Al with a great message, just get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Good for the mind body and soul. Liking the kit your becoming quite the Rab fan boy these days but tbh there kit mostly nails it imo. Quite simply the best outdoors related vid on KZfaq imo, your such an instantly likeable guy mate and blu is the perfect sidekick. Keep up the great 👊 mate

Heyup Bushman, love your videos. Great stuff. I'm gonna start getting out again as I really miss it and this is an inspiration. I was wondering if you or any of your viewers have used a Nordisk Opp Si2 tent and if you can say they are 4 season tents. I've got one, love it but don't know if it will withstand snow, ice and wind. I've only used it in good weather but will it stand the test of wind and snow?

I honestly don’t know. I’m sure it will be fine for 3 season and will handle snow but wind is the only thing to be wary of👍

I was nearly hime so running wet wasn’t an issue 👍. Running with 7kg backpack isn’t too bad any more then it’s hard work.

What water filtration would you recommend, it is great at Brimham Rocks, don't forget to try the Billberry jam. The Sawyer Squeeze on Amazon, a few say there's a few counterfeits, have you had any trouble with the system?

Would sihnging the straps with a lighter do the trick AL because i know when a climbing rope has friction burns it doesn't run smoothly through a belay device ....just a thought.

Hooped bivvy’s are good but it’s nice to be able to sit up in one rather than being pinned down👍

@@BUSHMANandBLUE I think my dog has got longer hair than Blue. I use a tablet every couple of months but I worry what it's doing to his insides.But if the spot on doesn't work the best I think I will have to just stick with it as its impossible to check him everywhere he's that bloody hairy.

@BUSHMAN and BLUE I hope you are well and that Blue is recovering ... and that you see this comment. I bought this bag today and I am really disappointed with the chest straps. The clasps feel like they are going to ping off and hit me in the eye, the straps loosen as you pointed out and they are a little too stretchy. Did you find a remedy? Or is the pack at the back of the cupboard? Cheers.

I squeezed some silicone in to the straps and it solved my issue. The hooks have never come off though and I run hard.

Have you tried those Alpkit bivvies for £40? Looking into getting a lightweight bivvy. Have the B Army one but it's heavy.

Yes I use the Hunka Bivvy in lots of my older videos. It’s great for the price but I wouldn’t sleep out in it in the rain.
