Bixby continues its football dominance in the State of Oklahoma with another MASSIVE victory in their first year BACK in 6A-1 (Largest Classification in Oklahoma).

Scary thing is, they're only going to get better. Even the elementary school level teams are using the same kind of training exercises as the high school. And they're lifting weights more than other teams, AND the town is expanding.

The most overlooked fact about this program from Bixby is they are the smallest enrollment in the 6A-1 Division and manage to continue to dominate on the field. No one will ever accuse Bixby of winning the "Getting off the Bus" contest, but they are well coached from a young age up through HS and the consistency shows in the success they have enjoyed. Would Bixby fare as well against some of the large High Schools in Texas, especially the private schools, probably not. Several Tulsa area schools did have had a home and home with one of the Dallas area schools a few years ago and Bixby dominated in their games. I would like to see this competition rekindled, where Jenks, Union, Owasso, Bixby, and BA all entered into home and home series with Texas area teams.

Just imagine if they were the size of Broken Arrow or Union ... Bixby is not much bigger than big 5A schools. The coach makes them lift weights a lot. Those players are pretty much as solid as teenagers can get. They can make the simplest plays, BIG plays, just because how strong, sturdy, and fast the players are. Bixby has become what schools twice their size, have been trying to build for decades. I don't think a single Oklahoma team in history, could've beat this Bixby team at their best.... I will say, they could definitely use a better throwing QB... Conner Kirby throws so sloppy, he's a beast with his legs though.

I run this exact offense here in Katy, Tx with youth football players. Pretty much unstoppable. We put up 473 points last year in 10 games. Looking for a 3-peat. Thank Coach!

I keep coming back to this video.... lol But it really blew my mind how these last 2 years were for Bixby. Jenks is literally the ONLY team that they didn't completely murder... before their match-up last year, their last close game was against Choctaw. Hopefully Bixby can influence other Oklahoma teams to get better.... I'd love for us to be a state with more great football teams in the top 100 teams of the nation. But other than Bixby, jenks, Union and sometimes Owasso and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma football teams are pretty bad compared to average Texas teams.

This shit was over from the start, Owasso players playing like they didn't even wanna be there. It became real noticeable after the half, but they played like they knew it was over in the first 5 minutes.

Plus owasso jumping offsides on 4th and 6 almost set off the chain reaction that led to the avalanche. Maybe they don’t even run the play and kick, or maybe they got stopped. Either way that play changed the entire game in an instant.

As someone who lives in Bixby no one was really celebrating it was kind of normal we won the 6a2 championship so many times

I'd think yall would be celebrating more, because you lost Presley and other senior key players, moved up to the highest division, being the littlest school in that division... and still blew out everyone other than Jenks.

What’s crazy .. when you actually play against bixby you realize how much they aren’t THAT good and athletic individually .. they are a WELL COACHED team that buys into what they coach preaches .. Midwest City should have beat them plenty of times its just our coaches didnt make adjustments and theirs did throughout the game .

Bixby beat Mansfield Timberview (TX) 69-14 in 2021, a 5A-2 playoff team.. Bixby would easily hang with 99% of Texas teams.

@@yoFACTOR Mansfield Timberview isn’t a top Texas team. They’re good but not great. They went 8-5 that year. They need to play the real top dogs Duncanville, North Shore, Southlake Carroll, or Westlake
