@smeraldo The thing is you can't really compare baldness or sexuality to skin colour. Even if an actor is bald irl, they can easily take treatments/use wigs to help with it. And the film was about premature balding and they needed an established actor to promote that message. For SMZS they tried to cast a Gay actor for the role opposite Ayushmaan but the people they approached refused to do the roles because that would make them come out of the closet and they feared that they'd be typecast and never be given straight roles. On the contrary Skin tone is a VERY visible trait. And casting a comparatively fair skinned actress for the role when there ARE dark skinned actresses out there is not just disrespectful, but it reduces the impact of the message they were trying to go for. So no honey, your comparisons are not accurate.
