The build was pretty meme, but I honestly believe Ashe is decent as a support right now. As you said, I wouldn't do Maligma cause it's pretty bad for her, she makes no use of the stats besides CDR and her strength is also in early lane pressure with damage. I like starting with Umbral Glaive and then doing Imperial Mandate, then the Hexplate makes for a nice third item. You do damage with W and Q but her ult is still on a short enough cooldown.

Unfortunately Imperial Mandate no longer deals damage when applying the mark which was one of the major reasons Ashe took Imperial Mandate in the first place. It's now purely reliant on your teammates to proc the extra damage.

Hey Bizz, how about malignance varus? I used this build for the entire season so far, I'm a bronze player but somehow I won almost every game with it, I'm in gold now and the damage you deal with malignance alone is sickening, and as soon as you get surge its over for them. I'm not a good player, i play rarely more than 1 game a day, so maybe it's hidden OP if i just skipped so many divisions with it :) greetings.

personally i like to build imperial mandate on ashe support since it procs of any auto and her W and ult

serious question: i love ashe’s champ kit, but she feels so weak as a support. do you think i should still use her as a main, or am i putting myself and team at a disadvantage?

You're putting yourself at a huge disadvantage lol. She's a meme pick, she's hella fun to use, but she's really, really bad in comp if you want to play seriously. She was subpar, but possible to make it work before her significant ultimate cooldown nerf, you used to be able to have an ult every 40 ish seconds at level 6, now it's more like 55-60 seconds. Aside from her ult, if you're playing her full Ability haste you're outputting very weak damage, and only provide hard CC with your ult.

While I personally don't love Ashe support, she's not a complete meme pick. She has a 49.5% Winrate in emerald+ elo, so you can do well with her.
