Every fencer needs a certain physical strength and the ability to combine movements with the sword quickly and fluently. Björn Rüther from Hammaborg shows some great exercises for more mobility and strength. Have fun!

I just came across your video and almost turned it off for the echo sounds. But put on the CC and then I watched you teaching. EXCELLANT teaching even without CC !! I have a Scottish great sword and have only been doing exercises to rebuild a fractured shoulder. I saw your other channel (?) and subscribed. 👍

There is a continuous line of European fencing since the renaissance. There is also a discussion about the 'right' school since the renaissance.
