Let just say, Beth you are sitting on the throne of the ultimate Gucci vibe. That black leather vest, you wearing, has been a fan favorite since it first appeared on your channel. I only seen one other person that was able to find it and she mention you in her video. The Escada pink plaid blazer, Banana republic chocolate quilted leather blazer a favorite among the garments today for me. I just love the big gaudy goodness of both the earrings, such an elusive find. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

I feel like whenever I wear vintage/thrifted items I always look cheap. You always look so chic and expensive, I still don't know how to replicate that! Love all of your looks!!!

Me, too! What I've observed in my attempts is, in pictures/videos, problems can both be minimized and highlighted. I tried a thrifting challenge a while back. I looked bomb in the pictures, but in person it was immediately clear the items had lost their shape, where worn/faded/tired looking, and pilly. I am far more selective now. Keep trying, but never settle!

I mix a vintage piece with modern, more intact items so that it looks purposeful rather than woeful! Get lots of compliments at work, don't be afraid to try new things

@@patriciainportland5567 the key to not looking cheap is mostly about being your authentic self. If you are true to yourself and wear things that you absolutely love, it will likely flow. The fashion part of it may not be issue. We can't all be beth Jones but you can be @Patricia Barrera!!

@@melilifabulosa5505 Perhaps I misunderstood Brenda Tobar's comment. Reading it, my thought went to pieces I tried on and even eventually purchased that, at second glance looked tired and worn out. In short, I could see why they ended up in the bins, despite the cool cut, pattern, sleeves or whatever. That's why my response to Tobar was to be selective.

The number one thing I did to elevate my thrift outfits was have lots of nice shoe options or accessories like belts .. the people at the thrift store I go to have mentioned to me multiple times that my shoes tie everything together perfectly and they can't believe my whole wardrobe is thrifted!

I visited to a warehouse in London Silver Town E-16 called Thrift factory Kilo sale !! They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there. They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and Trollies. But it was worth it as many where (Brands) New with Tag's are available.......

Love the shirt & vest you’re wearing, thrifted I presume? Any brand name I can look for? Yes I remember “Bend Over” trousers from the 70s & there was another brand called “happy” something that did really good 70s does 30s trousers high waisted baggy trousers or as we called them back then “baggies”- sorry I can’t recall the full.
