I just reorganize my closet this morning for fall, my favourite season for fashion, went thrifting and bought 2 leather jackets one brown longer one and one black bicker, for $7dollars each in mint condition, I also found a couple of dark grey jeans for $5.00 each and a couple of sweaters one charcoal grey and one light grey for under $10 dollars! Same... I can pretty much wear summer, lightweight items all year round in Tucson Arizona... I will wear the fall colors because I like them and I love layers and the glitz of the holidays but realistically, I can wear summer and flipflops pretty much all year. We're not exactly the fashion mecca over here.. lol. 😉

To me, trends are really more about availability. When I was a teenager, living in the Netherlands, there really wasn't much available beside the obvious trends, which unfortunately for me was y2k. It really didn't suit my body or likes at the time. Nowadays, I have my core wardrobe and I use trends to get pieces that would otherwise not be available. Like a top in a very specific colour or design. I think twice about getting rid of pieces for this very reason. Although, granted, nowadays it has become much easier to find almost anything you can think of. But this is still the way I use it.

Also how Prada is styling said inspiring white tank top is hardly ground breaking! I am a fan of Prada on the whole usually but I think it's just because its Prada people are thinking a white tank top for fall is stylish and cool!

I am here for anything that works as a cover up be it a trench, blazer, cardigan or shacket and I got plenty of items in that area because I am just that obsess. I like the oversize looks especially on the top portion because of my large chest is no longer the focal point of attention and I can be sure a large men blazer is going to fit and it gets really cold here so layering is necessary. The pullover zip high neck closure sweaters is something that I have a few of that I thrifted but was not sure how to wear them and I like how to totally zip open and the collar is spread open on the shoulders (will be trying that). Statement shirts are so fun to shop for at thrift stores and wear because they are great with layering and even better alone, you officially are playing dress up when you put one these on. The ballerina flats always make me think of Audrey Hepburn and I have about 4 pairs, but I need to check and see what condition they are in because I know I wore the heck out of them because they were my option of walking into work or running errands after work shoe, because they fit in a handbag or tote with little or no weight. Cowboy boot had always (even as a child) been my dream boot, but I could never afford them until I started watching KZfaqr Jillian Felice and KarenBritchic and they showed how they got theirs by thrifting them and that was the start of me getting really into thrifting, when I was able to purchase these boots for $10 or less (also genuine leather goods). This was a great video and I'm looking out the window at fallen leaves on the lawn (first signal of Fall after pool closing after Labor Day), so this came just in time, and I need to get ready for the inevitable coming of cooler temps. I visit to a warehouse in Silver Town E-16 called Thrift factory Kilo sale !! They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there. They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and Trollies. But it was worth it as many where Brand new with Tags ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
