This song doesn’t fail to move me, but Björk’s performance here is just making me emotional because of how far she has since come. I’m so grateful grapefruit that she has stayed true to herself always. Her music has not only inspired the way I enjoyed new kinds of art; she has opened up new ways to for me to see the world. Science, geography, human connection and disconnection. All because I found her videos on KZfaq in 2006. Her songs continue to make sense more and more as I grow. You just cannot compare her to anyone. Thank you Björk!!!

i have never seen Bjork look so nervous or emotional at the start of a song like she is during the first verse here... that doesn't detract from the fact that this was a truly wonderful performance i remember watching it live like it was yesterday...what a true professional stunning artist ... I love you Bjork xxx

Exactly, I immediately felt like she had a really tough day before this show..never saw her like this..but she brings it and channels..made it into a really compelling version of a super hard song to do live..more respect

She's so intense. Her movement, and body language screams with emotion, and expression. She's one of the most uninhibited, and sincere artist I've seen. She's almost like a child, which I guess, is an uninhibited adult. I love 3:55, to 4:05. She does the squishy thing with her hands, and sticks her tongue out. I know some people that are hearing impaired. They use body language to express everything. So, their hands, faces, and bodies can express complex emotions, states of mind, and language. It's quite interesting. They seem to be a little less inhibited than us hearing folk. Bjork seems to have a similar trait. Of course I don't know Bjork, so it could all be an act, but I think it looks pretty legit. (inserts the "what I would give/do to be Bjorks man" comment here)

Is so creepy how man feel the need to take women they admire as "their women", is like every talent someone have is reduce to a dowry and the only for of admiration to the opposite sex is sexual domination 🤮
@ZeldaNirvanaSpirit5 жыл бұрын
The fact that she uses her own emotions as an instrument to her music makes her music unique. I always get so into her music, basically puts me into a trance. I think that’s the major distinction between her and other performers who rely on their skill and talent. It’s not a bad thing for those who use their skills, but man, when you use your emotions, it’s more authentic.

Absolutely marvelous performance from one of the greatest female performers of all time.

Its beyond words. A masterpiece that lives in eternity . I study this song for hints to her genius even though i know her voice is the heart of all her majic I cant help it. One thing I learned about the music is how the arrangment she created holds a single note or chord in several places for near eternity which is really unusual thing for a song to do but it creates this wild tension as she sails freely around it in her own time and strangely relatable and beautifully human tense narrative (will she jump or fall from the cliff ?) before she releases us all and backs away , suddenly moving the song into her chorus 'I go to this...!!'

This is pure talent, this is what music and lyrics are..this is what an artist is...Bjork writes/composes/organizes/engineers..and the list goes on...none of this playback lip syncing stuff that has become popular at the end of the 90s..that more than half the artists in the industry do..that shouldn't even be famous or be called artists, seeing as they don't even do anything..just pay people off to write/compose/create for them.I'm not going to drop names but everyone knows who I'm speaking of
