She is so mesmerizing and so fresh and different. A child, a woman, an E.T., celebrity, human, and al of it at the same time. I love to listen to her talk, her accent, pronunciation, punctuation, choice of words....she is simply wonderful.

WORST THING EVER is to mention accent in a comment; Americans do it all the time as if they don't have an accent lol
@rayashino92336 ай бұрын
@@artscafe9371 in what kind of world do you live where mentioning the accent of someone, who has a very noticeable accent by the way, is the "WORST THING EVER"? her way of speaking is not the norm, pointing out you enjoy listening to it is a good thing, you know? has absolutely nothing at all to do with americans not thinking they have an accent. now im kinda disgusted with myself for writing a longer response to a nonsensical response to a good comment than the original comment. why did i even choose to engage with it? i blame alcohol, one of the worse drugs known to mankind

She looks worried, nervous about what kind of question he may ask. like she is out of focus. Not a single word about R.Lopez. I think is the best she could do about it. But cant help think both are thinking about him in that enterview.

full interview is probably the best i've seen with bjork. she gives very thoughtful answers to a sensitive interviewer who knows his subject- there's one question he asks, "what's the music like that you hear inside your head?" and there's this huuuuge silence while she sits and thinks really hard about how to describe it... and... can't. good answers she gives re. how she felt about selma, too. thanks for heads-up, k2head.

I've been listening to Bjork since my youth. All I can say is that she is a powerfully seductive force, while remaining a beautifully deep and disarmingly humble human being. In my opinion there are no words that can describe her, though I try when I say she is a wise old soul, put back on this earth to lead us by example through her simultaneous serenity, intensity, and grace. She and that which she creates have true beauty, something the rest of us can only hope to attain.

She is definitely childlike and bubbly, but I think there's more going on with her than is apparent. She's an emotional person and there's an intricacy to her personality. This format is good for interviewing because it is 1 on 1, so Charlie usually gets a more in-depth interview than many talk shows.

Björk's art is about exploring human experience, and obviously, about creating beautiful sounds. And the process. We don't really know how challenging it is. Charlie Rose is a favorite interviewer; he asks intelligent and genuine. Those he interviews open up to him, us and reflect on their art and their artistry. Thank you. Interesting how Björk goes in and out of an Icelandic and British accent and then some sort of hybrid of the two accents. Björk said "fyrirgefðu" to me while passing once.

Why not? She should/should have touched on the subject. Someone took their fucking life out of a twisted infatuation and love for her while trying to kill or harm her in the process. If you have actually watched the video diaries of Ricardo Lopez; you see and feel a sad, hurt, and lonely person that is obviously mentally ill. I have yet to find a interview or quotes from her speaking on it other than a word or two here and there.

@louisp12: Charlie Rose is a legend. He interviews guests and enables them to speak their own language. Viewers see a side of them that is truly unfronted and open, real. He doesn't pry. He's gentle. Notice how he asks open-ended questions, leading into revelations about the guests that they wouldn't share otherwise. While they are both different, they both do a great job delivering information about Bjork and her then album. Big Bjork and Charlie Rose fan here. Jus sayin'...
