Climate activist and educationist Sonam Wangchuk said that BJP has promised safeguards under the Sixth Schedule to Ladakh in 2019 Lok Sabha polls, and the Hill Development Council polls in 2020, but they went went back on their words.

Once we will give Schedule 6 to ladakh then tomorrow jharkhand, Chattisgarh, MP, Odisha , A&N etc states will also start saying we want schedule 6....where it will end then? Instead of asking 6 schedule u should bring other options

@@pritamraildarshan Any state or territory needs a representation, which presently not there because of the political set up. Only a native of the place can put forth their demand for the type of development in a climatically sensitive area.
