I do know that I have tried some of my older Xbox games as well as Xbox 360 games with the disc, and these titles I can confirm work. XBox - Time Splitters: Future Perfect, Max Payne, Black, Dead To Rights, Psychonauts, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, Mercenaries: Playground Of Destruction, Manhunt, Splinter Cell (all the way up to Chaos Theory), Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic 1 & 2, and Red Dead Revolver. Xbox 360 - 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand, Alice: The Madness Returns, Assassins Creed (1, 2, 3, Black Flag, Brotherhood, and Rogue), Batman: Arkham Origins, all of the Bioshock games, Borderlands 1 & 2, Burnout (Paradise and HD remaster of The Revenge), pretty much about all of Call Of Duty, same for Rainbow Six, Castlevania games, Crysis 1 - 3, Dark Souls, Darksiders 1 & 2, Dead Space 1 - 3, Fable Anniversary plus Fable 2 & 3, Fallout 3 & New Vegas, F.E.A.R, Gears Of War (up to 3), GTA IV, Halo: Reach, Hitman: Blood Money, Just Cause 1 & 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Mafia 2, Max Payne 3, Medal Of Honor: Airborne, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Perfect Dark Zero, Silent Hill (Downpour & Homecoming), Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Unreal Tournament 3, The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, all of Saints Row games, Brutal Legend, and King Kong (movie game).

@@swervingsphinxs9228 well they have sites that list all of the games that have been professionally tested by technicians. Out of all of the games that I have listed, only a small few that were not listed did not play. Like fight night round three did not play, but fight night champions works. So I don’t know. All I can say is, give it a shot. Worst case scenario, you can still play on an older system or you can take it to a pawnshop or collector to sell.

@@Ramirezbaby24 Hard reset your system, flash the disc reader. Check your Wi-Fi signal and test it. If none of that works, call Microsoft.

@@FreeButtSex 343 has actually fixed a lot of the issues with the port over the past year or two. It's worth checking out actually, it's a lot closer to the original xbox version now.

What happens if you put a Burger King Xbox game on a Series S or X? Since those games play both on Xbox and Xbox 360 by having 2 different versions of both game on the same disc, which game does the Series S or X loads?

@@alhuno1 weird because if you play any Xbox game on a Xbox 360, you will play the exact same game (resolution, textures etc.) but if you play the burger King games on a 360, you wil play the same game yes, but with better textures, resolution, models etc.

to me it is a bit of a shame the Original Xbox version of Halo Combat Evolved isn't supported but not a surprise though. I later tried this with Halo 2 also on the Original Xbox and same thing.

As much as I have known yet, don't use any Kinect or XBOX Gold disk. Every other disks are working great. Just insert them and you'll see a pop-up that asks you to install a new update

Do Xbox One discs of games not available in the Microsoft Store work on the Series X? For example: FIFA 18 has been unavailable in the Microsoft Store since 2020 due to the release of FIFA 21. If I have a FIFA 18 disc for the Xbox One today, will it work on the Series X?

I know MCC is a thing but for nostalgia purposes it would be really nice to experience the OG menu on an Series X that would be so cool seems like they have 0 priority on allowing Halo: CE to work.

You still need Xbox 360 for best compatibility with original and 360 titles. One/X/S kind of suck at backwards compatibility.

You need to be signed in and connected to Xbox live to play backwards compatible games, they will be downloaded

Tons of people still think its fully bc. I knew it was like 70% or so pretty much. That is bs they did that with original halo imo. Any xbox game can play, just comes down to the devs of the games allowing or not

@@martin.aguilar.a On a positive note, Xenia is running on series in dev mode now. Will take yrs before high game stability but it technically has full og bc. So just about any original & 360 game will run on series eventually. I would lean xsx though because emulating is like ray tracing( ridiculously resource hungry). Currently most games boot & run but get a chop/freeze/stutter every 10-30sec. It hasn't even been on series for a yr yet. Needs more time for optimization.

@@martin.aguilar.a To give people less of a reason to mod a console I guess. Xbox/360 & ps2/3 consoles was modded a ton back in their times. Mostly for "homebrews", emulation & playing with other apps. Emulation has come a long way. When I play sh2 on pcsx2 on my xsx, it blows the 360 hd version away after a few tweaks 🤓
