Man i frickin love your honest-to-goodness affection for Frida. Its so raw and just wholesome-seeming. Fills me with joy. ive always been a huge agnetha fan myself though i always considered frida to be absolutely beautiful too, but your appreciation of her has me looking at her with fresh eyes, perhaps through your eyes a little. theyre both beautiful and the whole band are so talented.

Both were the two most stunning and beautiful women at the time and excellent singers of course. Abba was and is a miracle. Everyone praises mostly Agnetha for her beauty so it is good to see someone put their eyes on Frida because she was a monument of a woman!

Frida was that groups professional vocalist and natural front and center entertainer. She started on stages in 50's. She was always known for her vocal talent since she was a child. Her vocal skills is what has always defined Frida. She wàs known for her complex vocal centric genre songs, too include jazz. She also did live-to-air TV shows. Agnetha background is mostly record label/studio pop singer. Very little live stage performance. She also known as a song writer for many of her own songs. Agnetha was marketed as the ABBA's pin-up. She fit the Swedish stereotype with blonde hair, blue eyes, which works well in certain parts of the world.. And then she got known for that Euro butt article that helped define her as a pin-up. People obviously notice Frida's beauty, fit, toned body, legs, but her fans always talk about her great vocal skills. Live shows. Frida is often featured solo vocalist while Agnetha backing or not even on stage. During lconcerts Frida will often sing solo, BB's 'Rock and Roll Band's from Ring Ring album. Frida changes the pronoun so the song is from her perspective. She sing the song in a high octave and covers the entire stage during her performance. Tbh, this video is hilarious to me after I noticed that when Frida left her lipstick on Benny’s cheek and it was Agnetha’s turn to sing by his side, Agnetha is seen laughing at him when she notices Frida’s kiss 🤣😂🤣. Benny probably didn’t know what was up lmao 😂. All in all, amazing performance with Frida dancing which is always a plus.

Your comment shows the fundamental difference between Frida and Agnetha fans. Yes, both are absolutely stunning women, and they were a real powerhouse! No matter how much we love Frida, we never have a problem acknowledging Agnetha's undeniable qualities and beauty. I've never seen a Frida fan disparage or outright hate Agnetha like Agnetha fans do towards Frida. Most are unwilling to give Frida any credit, which is really sad.

I can sometimes be guilty of defending Frida I bit too ardently...because I do think she gets a lot of uncalled for criticism and not enough praise for her immense talent...but I always try to remind myself about how much I also adore Agnetha and ABBA as a whole. If I ever met Agnetha OR Frida in person I'd probably faint right in front of them.

Have you ever heard of an artist called Moebius? - pronounced Mwee-bee-us. You may be interested - if you've not actually heard of him - to read some of his '18 tips for artists'. One or two of them - or possibly all of them - may peak your interest. Here is one of the 18. "There is a connection between music and drawing. The size of that connection depends upon your personality and what’s going on at that moment. For the last ten years I’ve been working in silence; for me, there is music in the rhythm of my lines. Drawing at times is a search for discoveries. I've purposefully left out the last sentence of his paragraph. It takes a certain disciplined and practiced technique to uncover that one! Some of his work appeared in English translation in the American version of Heavy Metal back in the day - coincidentally around the time of this video.

The most stunning women ever. One thing I enjoyed was that not only does Frida get even more beautiful, but Agnetha’s stage presence grew too, she got more confident. I love them both SO much!

I grew up as a kid with ABBA as a teen in the late 70's . I had ABBA T-SHIRTS, ABBA Posters in my room the whole deal. I had a crush on Agnetha ,the blonde one. I was in love with her ,she was my angel ,the only angel it seems since I've never had a true love in my love besides her ! Now I'm 45 yrs old , still haven't had a love like her again. Sounds pretty pathetic huh? Guys aren't supposed to be like that , love a woman for real ,just work and provide resources for a woman then get divorced by a woman and get taken for more than half to they have , then die . But men ,not women ,show real love IMHO ,women just show pretend love take what they can from the man ,then move on to the next victim. Women are colder IMHO. And no guys ,I'm not a simp or desperate,just stating facts ,period !

Frida for me was always the star. Yes, Agnetha was the majority favourite, but I preferred Frida's voice and her charisma. Agentha had sort of an aloof, cool blonde mystique as well as a somewhat tragic persona based on the songs she sang so well, but Frida was the firecracker, the stronger one, the one who would dance her way into your heart and the voice that would seduce you with those low sultry tones. I guess it just depends on what turns you on more... the girl who you need to protect or the girl you need to protect yourself from.

Yes, Agnetha fans can be toxic and disrespectful in their comments about Frida, yet it doesn't happen the other way around. Frida was more classically beautiful and had a wider vocal range than Agnetha, it's like they see it as a threat to their blonde obsession, so they turn venomously against her, sad little people! 😢

"Voulez-Vous” was written by Ulvaeus and Andersson while on a song writing trip to the Bahamas. Since it was close to Miami, the group ended up recording the backing track at Criteria Studios in Miami, with members of the disco group Foxy, and finished the recording at their own studio in Stockholm. The track is also the only song to ever be recorded by ABBA outside Sweden.

I love Agnetha. Actually she was the hook up from the very beginning but Frida is for sure a knock out as well. But the blond Agnetha, she is the real deal. At this point, Agnetha and Björn were divorced. I think Frida whispers to Agentha, 'go over to Benny, I'll hang out with Björn' because the divorce was still pretty recent and Agnetha might have felt 'a type of way' having to be near Björn too much. Frida was actually protecting her 'little sister', which is actually really endearing.

My Mother is from Sweden and our family still live there. My Aunt Eva looks exactly like Frida. Gorgeous lady. You weren't from a Swedish home if you weren't raised on ABBA. When we lived in California my Swedish best friend and I would play ABBA. She always chose Agnetha and I was made Frida. Good times. 😆 On a side note my Aunt Eva was neighbors to the manager of the Swedish group Roxette.

This is Frida before she split up from Benny ( the master pianist) a few years later she went through some Very difficult and dark times...her daughter was killed in a car accident in the state of New York and 18 months later her husband who was a German Prince died of cancer, she was at the time contemplating recording an album to follow her previous successful release but never did. After that dark period of her life she withdrew from public life as a recording artist, and who could blame her. In the ABBA years she was always overshadowed by Agnetha, but that was down to the sexist press. Frida was always my favourite...I got to see ABBA in London at Wembley Arena in 1979.....it was amazing Love your reaction videos especially to Frida, she really is a beautiful lady and so is Agnetha (Who also went through some Very difficult times) James from the UK 🇬🇧

Her early life was pretty rough too. Her mother died when she was two and she thought that her father was also dead. She only realized he was alive and met him for the first time in her thirties. Then had to deal with the press backlash of him having been a German soldier.

@@TheFridaFan If I not mistaken he was an SS officer, I know that they did meet up but it was a short reconciliation. It must have been very difficult for Frida.... Agnetha also had to endure difficult times after the ABBA years. They are both Very talented and beautiful ladies that deserve the utmost respect. They were both victims of the sexist media that excisted in the 70's. I'm just so glad that they have remained good friends and I can still see how Frida is looking out for Agnetha after all this time, it shows in the premier of the ABBAtar concerts in London They both respect and admire the contribution each other put into "ABBA" and only those two ladies can understand the sacrifices they had to give. We should now give them the respect for privacy, they deserve that at least after all that they have given us🥲 I Will always love these beautiful women, and of course Benny and Bjorn..... @@jamesleogue3938 He wasn't in the SS and I think that needs to be stated as they were the real adherents to the master race ideology. Instead, her father was a pastry chef by profession and had been conscripted into the regular army. Maybe just a guy hoping to get through the war unscathed and probably thankful that he was posted to the relatively quiet outpost of Northern Norway instead of the Eastern Front.

I had also read somewhere that there was doubt whether Alfred Haase knew that Frida's mother was pregnant before he left. He claimed that he didn't while Frida's aunt claimed that he did. I think she opted to believe her aunt, which led to a breakdown of the relationship between her and her father.

I hope one day I can go see the ABBA show in London they designed using their songs and voices(even the new songs) and Holograms

It seems to be an amazing show, but the people you see on stage is not their holograms, it's their avatars. They were made by using motion capture technique, so what you see on stage is actually them. And from what I've heard, it seems like the show will go on tour so that more people get a chance to see it.

Yes the show has been extended plus also talk of another arena being built.I have seen the show and believe me it really is amazing,such a clever technique,all the moves were actually made by ABBA themselves,I am going again in a couple of weeks,you should go trust me you won’t be dissapointed 😃
