The way DC shows impact in their fights and how fast everything is really shows the power in the hits. I can definitely see some hints of Man of Steel in these fights.

In the final fight there is too much destruction , a huge part of Superman is he is smart to reduce damage . Thats a problem with writting too

@@uvindukulathunga3860 I saw tons of criticism on the fight scenes and all the destruction but if two gods were fighting in a metropolitan area there would be that much damage…..he’s not Superman in this film he’s just the man of steel hence the name…..and he’s goinh against a Kryptonian General……he tried to move the fight out of the city but Zod kept bringing it back to Metropolis……I think Man of Steel is a masterpiece and I have the right to feel that way…….just like u have the right to think the writing was bad

Love how DC portrays power, even characters that aren't that strong feel strong in dc movies, the special effects team really does every character justice, the mcu feels like it censors their characters' power especially the physically strong ones like thor and hulk, most especially thor, he feels more like an enhanced human rather than a god

Well, the difference is Thor doesn't fight humans and other weak opponents like alot of the characters in DC. And please tell me what enhanced human is going toe to toe with the Hulk. And im not talking about smart Hulk. I'm talking about Avengers 1 savage Hulk that stopped a giant whale alien with 1 punch.

Yeah, the key to their characters always should be EPIC, and most of the main character movies get that across, even Snyder's, although the mood may switch from light to dark. Hawkman, Aquaman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Shazam... these are Golden Age godlike heroes from the Pulp years and the mood should always reflect it.

@@daviddavidson1412reason why i say he feels more like an enhanced human is cuz for example as u can see from black adam every punch creates a shockwave, u know it emits pressure all around no matter how casual the punch, which is to be expected given how strong we know he is but have u seen such from thor? Thor is just as strong as black adam infact if we using feats to judge who's stronger between thor, black adam and supes in the movies, thor should be much stronger and far more durable than both superman and adam but even with those feats nobody can confidently say movie thor could beat movie supes or black adam, and why's that? Cuz of the way their power is shown, that's my point Also, dceu is pretty consistent with their characters, the MCU with thor on the otherhand not so much, cuz how do u take full on hits from hulk no problem and dish out hits to match but get your sh*t rocked by some robot(ultron) that hulk ends up tossing around like a toy or struggle against avengers 1 ironman and multiple other instances

@@daviddavidson1412 I think they are talking more in terms of portrayal of the character. You feel the weight of their many characteristics, strength and weakness. Basically what makes them whole. DC has been better at that than marvel. Marvel has a more thought out storyline and cohesiveness but lately they are taking L after L.

Wow it actually _looks_ and feels like its in the the same universe that was shown in the Snyder cut. Wonder Woman 2, Suicide Squad, Birds of prey, and Aquaman didn’t. They felt totally foreign.

I am actually excited for this movie. The trailer looks good. The 'Your magic is weak.' Line got a laugh from me. The action looks good. Hopefully this movie does well. DCEU needs a good film to set it back on course.

Maybe going up against other Magic based DC Characters. Right now DC needs to focus on itself and not try to start a call out war with the MCU. DC's position isn't strong enough for that.

The Black Adam trailer looks amazing I can't wait until it's out to watch, it looks like it will be one of best and top movies from the DC universe like, The Justice league [Zack Snyder cut] Aquaman and Superman. Hopefully it will give that tiny push for MCU movies to continue with all exciting content that we all want to keep seeing the best Hero's vs Villan's plots coming to life. It's so awesome to see them now and being lucky enough that the different DC and MCU comic generations have the tech for us all to feel the child inside alive, amazing to bring our imagination back for the many journeys to come.🤜💥💢💥🤛

Not only is "The Rock" one of my favorite actors but from day one I wished he got this role. Then when he did I said, between him and Henry Canvill are probably the only two kats that do not need blow up muscles added to their suits. LOL. Ontop of that. I love that they have not only Black Adam, Dr.Fate in this but FKN Hawkman is my dude. I grew up on the Hall of Justice cartoons. Hawkman and Hawkgirl were my favorite besides WW and The Flash. I am sooooo pumped for this. I told my friend the same. Black Adam is a enemy of so many, so this could tie into a Shazam, Superman, Batman or a Green Lantern spin off type battle film. Soooo can't wait to see this. It looks effin awesome and better yet he is a Villian. Now we need a Sinestro/Green Lantern Movie

In that scene with the JSA’s version of the X-Jet coming out from under their courtyard, the thought hadn’t even crossed my mind about how the X-Men leave the mansion when they go out on a mission on their jet. Thank you for the reminder. Being the huge X-Men fan that I am I should’ve picked up on that. But also I haven’t watched anything related to the X-Men in a long time, too. But still, that’s something I should’ve noticed right away. Now I’m kicking myself in the ass for it. Shame on me. This was the best Black Adam trailer so far. God, I can’t wait for next month. I’ve been waiting so long for this movie & now I finally get to go & watch it on or after October 21st!

Duuuuuude, I DEFINITELY got X-Men vibes... The mansion, the yard opening, even the jet... For a split second, I asked myself if mutants are gonna be in this movie... I'm embarrassed to admit that LoL but it REALLY confused me! ***As a side note, I hope they clean up some of the SF/X because some of them look absolutely cartoon-ish. I think Amanda Waller called JS instead of JL simply because they have Dr. Fate. Magic vs Magic. Shazam is not part of the Justice League yet (as far as we know), so I think she made a sound choice.

Justice society looks really sweet. Come on October 🙂 I think he'll become a good guy by the end. Or at least a Venom like anti hero anyways. Or the JSA will realize they can't beat the enemy without him etc. I think your right to about it being a reformed JSA with some old.members and current day ones. Like their going the Smallville JSA route where some old members joined today's heroes to fight a bigger current day threat etc.

Have they ever done a Shazam scene in the comics where someone knew Shazam from way back and tells Billy Batson that it’s weird for him to yell “Shazam”? The thought just occurred to me that it might be similar to yelling “George” in modern times.

@@peterl.104 Come to think of it, I don’t think I recall ever seeing that in the comics but it would be a hilarious meta moment. In Young Justice, one of Zatana’s proteges has Shazam’s powers but she decides to use the full brunt of them and goes rogue. I never got beyond that episode due to the fact my compy went haywire. Hopefully I can get it back up and running because Young Justice is exquisitely written, acted and drawn.

The issue is these companies based the characters around the actors, which forces ppl to become invested in the actor instead of the actual characters. This is why ppl don’t want to see another person play Wolverine,Superman etc..Which sucks because there’s plenty of talented actors/actresses that could bring those characters to life.

I'm really divisive on JSA having X-men'esque mansion with flying jet underneath thou the VFX really DOPE thou, but I suggest and in my own opinion it would be great if HAWKMAN has a flying island or hellicarrier giving that he has all the technological resources and advancement due to his thanagarian roots, and why Hawkman's mace transform to double blade Axe transformed like magic 😅 but it's really dope thou maybe it explains that Nth metal has the most DURABLE but at the same time the most MALLEABLE METAL in the universe. But I'm kinda divided on Hawkman's helmet suiting up and mace transformation believability tbh. I feel Ant-Man and wasp helmet and captain marvel helmets functioned same. But I believe it will upgrade sooner when Hawkman soaring more in the silver screen

In the actual Comics themselves Both Black Adam,Hawkman &Hawkgirl Existed In Egyptian Times within the same timelines,as Hawkman and Hawkgirl Had actually crashed on Earth and were actually seen as Godly Deitys/Egyptian Royalty with Wings of flight,Extraordinairly incredible Fighting ability's,& Immotality as various occurrence's with Black Adam as an actual Egyptian Wizard was actually taking place as well simultaniously between them within their existence with little remeberence about the other for reasons unexplained.

This trailer looked dope. Will I actually get a 2nd good DCU movie, because so far the only thing worth while for me has been the 1st Shazam. Also it would be funny if Cavil didn't reprise his roll as Superman and instead became Vindicator. They could make an Alpha Flight film and use that to bring in Cavil and a new Wolverine.

An awesome movie to look forward to watching. I’m a true “The Rock” fan so I am looking forward to see how well he does with the character. I know the visual effects are going to be amazing, but I’m looking forward to seeing Henry Cavil and Zachary Levy take on Dwane Johnson in a sequel. Hopefully this movie was done amazingly well so there’ll actually be a sequel.
