I shot in mono last week for the first time , on my k70 , few shots of a local castle ruin , I really liked the images and I feel they came out well shooting against a grey moody sky where perhaps the light wasn't great for colour photos to stand out . I will definitely shoot more in black and white . I can't stretch to a k3 iii monochrome , but I'm enjoying the genre .

Nice video. I'm thinking of renting the monochrome and a 400mm lens for wildlife and birds due to sharpness and high ISO quality.

It’s a so tempting but I doubt at the moment whether I could justify the cost. As for future likes we’ll definitely more lens upgrades withe PLM.

Lee Im still not sold on black & white i like color to much as I like to look at the colors of the wildlife i photograph a blue bird with its blue feathers looks better in color than in black & white it just becomes a black & white bird instead of a blue bird

Thank you very much for your work and effort. As a Pentax user for 15 years, I cannot and will not be convinced to buy the K3 III (for many years I have been fighting within myself whether to buy it or not, I ended up with the KP camera. I cannot use a camera without a few basic features that all modern cameras have. If Pentax doesn't give me what I want (better video, a better movable LCD screen), I won't change my mind. I can't have two systems to be independent. Photography is photography, I understand, but we live in times when expensive equipment goes beyond the scope of photography only. I run a channel on KZfaq, FB, etc. and I have no way of recording short, valuable videos.

I love my Old Film Pentax cameras! I simply see no need to spend that kind of money! Yes, it's way less than those Leica-Monochrom! Still not worth it. A roll of Film, Self Develop and scan. OH! Older compact cameras do great BW! It's the CCD sensor! I use a Minolta.. good video but NO!
