I love the idea behind this series. As a person from Texas, I don't have easy access to Korean restaurants or markets. The first time I tried Korean food in my 30+ years was unfortunately only a couple years ago. Now i love it but it's a daunting task perusing ALL THE BRANDS. I feel like this series will be so helpful in narrowing down the good stuff!

Jjajjang or blackbean noodles by Paldo still the best one I've tried. Even better than the black bean noodles served by korean restaurants in my country.

For Chapaghetti use 360 ml of water put all seasonings plus oil let it boil then add noodles, cook til done. Promise it will not taste burnt. There was a video on how to make.

i like both the chapaghetti and the paldo jjajangmyeon but the paldo jjajangmyeon takes the cake for me, it's just so good and the sauce already comes packaged and prepared🤤

When you said Chapaghetti taste has a burnt bean flavor it clicked! I tried it with high hopes and while it's good it does sort of have this coffee ground flavor to me..but I couldn't put my finger on it until you mentioned that 🤔 I assumed it's because it was powder vs sauce. Paldo black bean is still my fav😍

Honestly they both look equally appealing and delicious. I would wanna try both just to see for myself what it tastes like. Cause I agree with what you said, about people having different taste buds and taste preferences. So I never go by other people's tastes unless I try it myself. But these both honestly look so good, I can't wait to try them!

I’m going to have to pick up some black bean sauce because of this video ❤️ so yummy! I definitely thought it tasted like burnt onions the first time I tried black bean noodles, but it grew on me!!

Chapaghetti needs kimchi to eat with it for it to taste good. Paldo was the first black bean noodles I ever tasted at first I hated it, also the same reaction to pickled radish. But I have both a try again (Paldo, pickled radish,) and now I'm addicted to both items!

I got used to smelling my food because of my digestive issues. I get food poisoning so easily so I always have to make sure nothing is spoiled. Now it's just a habit. But it has saved me from getting sick more.

I tried the Chaghetti black bean noodles and I cannot say I was a fan. I didn’t care for the flavor I thought it was kinda bland and it made my stomach bloated. Just overall it was not a pleasant experience, I am curious to try the other one

My favorite black bean noodle is Paldo too. Nick actually introduced the brand to me. I used to really enjoy watching his videos before he started the troll content. I don’t cook mine like that though. I boil the noodles and drain and then add the sauce. I like it with the dried veggies and I add more dried cabbage and hot sauce. 😋

I love the paldo ones. I bought the chapagetti and it was not tasty to me at all. Kinda made me sick. So now I have a whole bag that will sit for eternity haha.

In my opinion, black bean noodles with powder-based sauce is not delicious at all lmao. My first experience with cup black bean noodles is kinda traumatic because it just tasted bland, bitter and earthy (2nd bite was super hard to swallow so I stopped eating😭). Thankfully, I watch mukbang a lot so I once asked a korean mukbanger and she said that it wasn’t suppose to taste bitter then recommended me the paldo black bean noodles. Was super glad I tried it because it really is yummy but ngl it’s kinda bland. I’ve tried to cook jjajangmyeon at home tho and it definitely tasted even better!

I tried both of them, I like jjajangmen better than Chapagetti. Chapagetti is too strong/deep flavour but still good with fried eggs or anything deep fried foods😋

i don’t think for the paldo one you were suppose to put it in with the water , just cook the noodles & then put the sauce packet in the noodles after you drained all the water from the noodles that’s why maybe urs tasted bland
