Great video and well produced! I went up camp bird mine trail out of ouray in 2014 in my stock nissan frontier. Saw imogene pass sign but knew it was over my head. Turned around at the mine and returned. The only damage I suffered was a leaky tire from the new gravel. That's an amazing place. Thanks!

I love this video! It really captures Jeeping in the high country. I have to admit, there is one place on Imogene where I get out and walk while my husband negotiates the trail. The passenger seat is scarier than the driver's seat. :) Keep on Jeepin'.

This is the best black bear pass pass I’ve seen by far, from a drones perspective

This has to be one of the most beautiful locations in America

Going over Black Bear is easy compared to the first way over it, which before the switchbacks, was a 40-45 degree down, while a 40-45 degree to your left side. The hardest by far was when the land side from your right side covered the road of the first way over with 3-5 feet of shale, 5" to 18" pieces long. I should know, for I was the only one to do it ! A vehicle with any lift would have rolled over, all the way to the stream below to your left, where the slide stopped. Yes, I was crazy, but signs were all removed to get to Black Bear from Red Mt. Pass, of which I feel was a dumb way to do it, as like if you been there before, you don't need signs to go back again. Leaving Red Mt. Pass, should have been a sign telling people that, "Black Bear Pass is CLOSED" Happy 4-wheeling.

I still watch this video almost everyday. The best I've seen.

My hubby and I just got back from Colorado a few weeks ago. We couldn't believe all the snow that was still on the ground. We did Imogene Pass and several others. It gives me goose bumps watching this video! I love it!!!

This has got to be the best video ever done of BBP and Imogene I have ever seen! Kudos to you Cam for posting this. You have set the bar high for anyone to do a video better than this! I just did Black Bear Pass and Imogene Pass for the first time 3 weeks ago and it was awesome to see the trail from an aerial view.

8/3 was my 6th time over Black Bear/Imogene via a tourist 4x4 tour ride, but this video is one great new perspective to keep and show to my pals who never come along for these rides.

I ran Black Bear Pass in 2015 in a 2wd Suburban rental and had zero issues. For those of you watching this video, wanting to run this trail but wondering if your rig will make it, DON'T WORRY...unless you're in a car, you can run Black Bear Pass. Where did you stay and what recommendations do you have for lodging? We've thought about renting a cabin as a "home point" and go out everyday from there. We are having a family trip up there with our family of Jeeps. College kids with a TJ and LJ and us ol' timers with a CJ-7.
