This is an impoverished Country, which often leads to heavy envy towards the Diaspora with $. What's really incredulous, is the fact, you won't hear of Caucasians being unalived like this.

The reason white women won't get hurt is because Caucasian women are backed by a power structure and Africans know that if they mess with a white woman they gonna have to deal with that "power structure" black women don't have that same luxury and comfort... that's why white women can act dilly and yuk it up in comfort almost everywhere they go in the world... so black women maybe a little more on edge because they don't feel safe it's not cuz they're crazy they're just being a little more cautious Because deep down they know they're not protected..... really most issues come down to power distinct when the power goes out in your house ...oh now there's a problem.... people want to come to America because it's recognized as a "superpower" ...so can you understand how a unprotected black woman feels...and still find the courage that it takes to go forward😢

I've said this for years! They'll rob and m*order those with a nicer apartment, shinier car, or even 1 shilling more than them. NOT assh*oles who buy 1k hector acre. In the Caribbean, they wait for the pensioner diasporans, even family members that return from the UK to rob them AT THE AIRPORT of their lifesavings. But leave the men alone who buy up the entire public beach then turn it private. They put up walls/gates, blocking native fishing/water rights.

My sister, I'm from South Africa and have travelled around the continent. A sad reality I had to come to terms with is that our so-called African brothers and sisters are highly envious people and will use unsavoury ways to come at you, which may also lead to fatal results. I used to be a strong Pan-Africanist, but experience taught me that all your skin folk ain't kin folk. Unfortunately, due to what is perceived as 'better' living/life conditions in the UK, US, and SA - those of us who are black coming from those nations, are an immediate target. It's a jealousy that is illogical and irrational, but it puts us at risk. If you look at the state of the continent, we know the impact of colonialism, racism, imperialism, and other isms... but the other aspect of it is that Africans will bring another African down. We see this is a lot in SA with the influx of Africans from all over the continent. There is a lot of jealousy towards black South Africans, they are constantly seeking ways to fight against us and be favoured by the white establishment - something you are well aware of in the US, they do the same to black Americans in the US. Their jealousy is destructive, hateful and fatal, and they often do act up on it. Thank you for bringing this to light. People must know. The jealousy is real, uncontrolled and often fatal. Keep warning our sisters. May those who have passed on rest in peace. My aunt was unalived in Ivory Coast, similar issues of jealousy and envy.

Glad you have done vidros about this creepy topic. It was a very good & itonic point that you made about how some Gambians may *resent* Black American Females who cone & invest their money, time & future there, only to be ✖️'d off----- while any ol' Colonizer with money can just freely step into ANY part of Africa & easily set up shop. Modern Colonizers have opened MINES, enormous *factories* , pharmacies, stores & businesses of all kinds---- and these foreign Colonizers are mainly left to do so in peace. Why is that?? Yet, a few Black Americans & Black British go to Africa to do something *constructive*, create work and/or enliven & improve the economy of their local comnunities and are met with hostility/anger/resentment/evil/envy/witchcraft/break-ins/poisoning etc. Makes NO sense.

One thing is certain, she had to know who her killer was. Think about it, if this was a home invasion her body would have been found in the house and there would be signs of a struggle, blood stains, etc. But the fact that she was found in a well suggests that she knew the killer and this was why he had to kill her because he could easily be identified. Most likely she was romantically involved with her killer.

Plus the information was not even true. Even saying Shanka Chinedo is not her real name! When that's as real as it gets because she chose an African name and no longer used her christian name like so many of us. How illiterate can someone be to disregard this and state the name she uses is not her real name? Thats most real name that she has ever had. How ignorant is the sister in the video. And what was the relevance of bringing up umar Johnson- up until now, no one with any sense can understand why Umar was mentioned. The sister in the video is obviously a bitter, hater.

@@kemetimani6254 , did you know this sister personally, for you to make these statements? If so how and how long. I remember in 2020, hearing about the land scamming going on with a group of diasporians in the Gambia. What evidence can you provide to prove she was not involved in that fiasco? Also, do you know the names of the people that she networked with to organize people to buy land/ houses in the Gambia?

What is so disturbing about this sisters report, is the fact that it is inaccurate. Also the fact that Shakinas daughters and son have just lost their mother in the most horrific way, and this sister decides to put out negative untruths. First untruth- stating that Shakina Chinedo is not her name. How ridiculous! This is her name (her true and righteous name) that she has had for a few decades now. Does she have a Christian name (which her parents had given to her) yes she did as the majority of us do. Those of us who know her extremely well from early years know her name at birth, just as we know her "real" name Shanija Chinedo. Second- Re Umar Johnson, our sister Shanika attended an event in The Gambia which I was personally supporting Umar at. We sat together and I introduced her to him (as i did many others who attended) and majority of attendees took a photo with him as always. What was your point in referencing Brother Umar? Something just does not seem right with you! Shanika studied law in the UK and became qualified in that area. She also became qualified in common law (which is the most righteous law) and was a legal and lawful representative for many persons in the UK and in The Gambia and she won many cases. Mine was one of them. So what is your point? Because she didn't do the barr? So what? I was a teacher, teaching in many schools before i became qualified. So you say all of what you are saying about her means what? Stop trying to tarnish her name with your negativity. This is not the time, whether true or false. All of the people that i have spoken to who have worked with Shakina re: business re: land or otherwise have not one bad thing or not one bad deal to say about her. Not even myself. She is an upright Queen. So whoever or wherever you got the negative information from is not telling the whole truth, they are quite obviously just telling their truth. So my humble advise to you my sister will be to be considerate and compassionate regarding a person who has just lost their life. This is a sister! Why would you come with all of that toxic negativity (whether true or false. And i can guarantee that it is false) straight after a sister is "unalived" ? How pitiful and disrespectful of you, especially as a grown woman. I was going to do a video regarding your false information, but i rather not, as the family and friends do bot need to hear the false negativity especially at this time. She had only became "unalived" a couple of days before and you put out negativity, instead of lighting a candle for her safe transition. Absolutely terrible!

She’s not African and was probably Indigenous to the UK. Y’all need to understand we are global and indigenous to ALL land masses. These pale people came later on. They’re not as old as we are so please stop running from your own Country to live in someone else’s Country. So sad this is happening. Just lost people.

The American Embassy, British Embassy and the U.S. State Department should see this and other videos about American and British Women being Un-Alived in Gambia so perhaps proper Autopsies can be done. Getting information about these events is good however the United States Government’s need to be advised about these issues. The Gambian Police seem to be incompetent.

Only wicked people, male and female, rejoice at the lawless taking of another's life. Maybe there were loud women rejoicing, but I hardly think they represented the majority of women. Do not impute the wickedness of others on those of us who sincerely mourn the senseless death of others. I was surprised when I heard of the recent pattern of deaths of members of the Passport Bros. They were targeted just like these women. It's terrible.

@@Coco-uk9tv The "lady" don't speak for no one but her self okay. Secondly, you have no defense of what I said; you just want to argue. Well this conversation is not one where you get to gaslight and deflect, possibly like those you may have with your babydaddies or many failed situationships. We're talking facts! For you to bring up some nonesense about bm laughing about the demise of bw from the beginning of time is both damning and comical.

This was a friend from my school days in East London back in the day and I linked her in Gambia a few times, fascinating watching someone who did not know her personally, who can't even pronounce her name correctly to be chatting shit, taking pot shots and sly digs - you've strayed waaay off topic barely addressing the tragedy itself and engaging in and encouraging salaciousness, you should not be airing all your 'hear say' and 2nd hand stories on your platform for clicks - you are slinging mud and mud sticks - you are presenting under the guise that you give a toss - you need to jog on

Given the countries many of us are currently living in and the homicide rates, Gambia is way safer by comparison. If we are hoping for a risk free utopia we'll have to wait until we cross the river Styx to find that.
