Tina is a legend same as Aretha there was no need for all that like there's enough accolades and recognition to go around sheesh. Tina is the queen of rock and all she had to go through to come up in that genre she is a queen.

I agree with you in an attempt to look at it in a different light the way it was phrased I think was unnecessary it was kind of comparing Tina Turner to them all like you said they're both legends and they're queens in their own right so to name people then finally to introduce someone as someone who has it all and as the queen I can see how it could be taken as shade
@wylona2494
@wylona2494 3 жыл бұрын
I can kinda see why Aretha was offended because the way it was worded was like "All these women are great but, they're not as good as Queen Tina" But I do think she should recognize that it was probably not intended to sound like that and shouldn't have started a feud over it.

Absolutely right? I went to one Prince’s concert and I would always in the purple circle the first four rows, and he would pick people from those rows I was so scared I use pretend to be getting something out of my purse and a young lady I with got picked and tried to get close to him and started to back up and then was kinda shown the stairs to come back to her. Anyway I was totally in awe of him. All of what I was feeling, he sang about it! Michael Jackson was childhood crush. I bought all his music except Blood on the Dance Floor. But then Prince came along…he’s will forever be in heart and in my Spirit! I went to so many Prince concerts I was tired and I gave my daughter the ticket and went with our friends who I trusted. When my daughter came home she was like Wow! You were right about the things you said about Prince! Sorry for this long text is. If there’s errors please forgive me! Thank you 🙏🏽!

Exactly. I was at that concert and it was LIT AF. Janelle Monae and Nile Rogers with Chic opened for Prince on the main stage that night. In between each act, Doug E Fresh (at Prince's request) kept the party going with a DJ and had all 70,000+ of us dancing. Oh, and we can tell Prince was having fun that night. He popped up onstage with Janelle during her set and did the solo for Let's Go Crazy. Then, he popped up during Nile Rogers' set and played guitar on LETS DANCE (the David Bowie song Rogers wrote and produced). Talk about the crowd going nuts (in a good way) when Prince did that......twice before his 2hr+ set.
