Watch the anime it’s great, but in the beginning it was difficult for the animators and studio. It almost went bankrupt but they were determined to continue and as of today it has improved significantly.

The thing is it's still produced with a moderate budget and comparatively VERY small animation staff because Boruto is the only thing the studio actually cares about.
