Wonderful museum went a few years ago, well worth getting up early and getting the train there. It has everything. Including some very nice chips...

I was driving at Trolley 21.It was a glorious week weatherwise and a fun week for all of that drove and conducted. Regards Pete

What a fantastic museum! I had no idea it existed before today, so thanks for that. I think the canal tunnel featured in the BBC TV series Peaky Blinders.

I grew up riding Trolley buses from West Vale up through Elland and on to Huddersfield, why they favor Trams over these i will never know. You don't have to dig the roads up, they can go around parked cars ect and go uphills like they are not there. the ones we had were six wheeler. no pollution ,no noise used to fascinate me to look up in the Town and see all the points up in the air the Conductor would jump off if required and switch them with a Handle that came down one of the cable poles happy days 60's
