Sometimes I just keep the bloopers in because... why not?

this is life, sometimes we are excited about stuff, other times we don't just keep pushing forward and new excitment will come, if not in bdo, in other parts of your life

I used to be there everyday for a long time. But in recent months, it might be only once or twice every few weeks. I have basically done everything I want to do in the game and as you spoke to, it is now boring/pointless? But as SG2 already spoke about, that time spent on BDO is now occupied with other things. For me it is finishing my anthropology degree (one class left) and discovering mostly retired life after age 65. Life is good brother! Stay Strong!

Appreciate the comments here. Yep, BDO can get grindy and stale at times. As a game platform, it has a lot to offer though, and when it starts to feel grindy to me, I pivot to something else in game that makes it more fun, or focus on some different games or just take a break for a while. After a while, especially when you have some specific goals in game (mine have mostly to do with life skills, esp. pushing into sea content and upgrading horses . . . but that's me), it can get to be fun again.

I totally get that too, even myself I've been playing a lot of other games more consistently recently... elden ring playthrough with my friends, wuthering waves, genshin, star rail, even a modded skyrim playthrough right now. The nice thing is you can take a break from BDO and come back with all of your gear still relevant unlike many other MMOs where you need to keep up with the latest dungeon/raid in order to keep playing. But always make sure you're doing something you enjoy when gaming, don't play something just because.
