A Bed & Breakfast is a small lodging establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast to its guests. Bed and breakfasts are often private family homes and typically have between four to 12 rooms. Many have a historical designation but others are very new and modern. The unique characteristic of most B&Bs is the fact that the hosts or owners actually live in the house, therefore being able to provide a special, organic flavor of customer service and attention to your needs.
While you can probably locate a bed and breakfast near any major city, only a handful of them are black-owned and we would like to introduce you to them. As with hotels, there is an individual B&B for every type of experience a Black traveler could want, and with enough research, you can support the black hospitality industry while enjoying your long holiday vacay or a quick 3-day weekend getaway. We encourage you to call a few of these properties today as supporting Black-owned properties is an easy way to help African American entrepreneurs while diversifying your travel experiences.

Moorehead Manor and Folkston Ga. I think I may move to NC so I will probably stay at one before the actual move. Is the Akwaaba Inn in Brooklyn, NY no longer a good one?

The one in Durham since I currently reside in the area. I think my mom would love the one in BK bc she is still in NYC and she loves Biggie lol

This was lovely but i do need to point out that the wrong Magnolia House was featured. The pictures shown actually belonged to the Magnolia House B&B owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines from Hgtv but the website listed was correct for the actual b&b you were covering.

Can you do a white owned list please? You know since we’re pushing racism with these stupid lists. Thanks. Also if I owned a b&b and only had .2% “black” would I be on the list? Or does your ancestry only count at a higher percentage or does percentage not count as much as skin shade? Or does ancestry only count if it could prove you’re a “racist”, Er.. I mean “white”? Just wondering.
