Since the FXONE launched in September, they had only dropped the Lopro and Gold edition. Black FXONE is finally in stock! After so many years of testing new products and tools, the black clean aesthetics are standing out to me even more.

Is the gray lo pro fx one edition worth it over these? You like these fox one because of the extended lever. But what’s the difference between the these the gray ones and the boost +?

Been using the lo pro fx one for about 2 wks… best cordless adjustable clipper I’ve ever used!!!! Just ordered the black fx one!!!! Babyliss killed it with these tools… the shaver is on another level!!!!! Tx Babyliss. Awesome content Sophie!!!!!💪🏻💪🏻💈💈🙏🙏

Do you think the concept of the removable battery is dumb, instead of having a charging dock. My co worker has them and loves the clipper. I just can't get past the removable battery. Makes zero sense to me.

I have a gold snap fx clipper, I noticed that it don’t cut really well because the moving blade for some reason doesn’t move on a parallel way to the static blade, it moves in an inverse u shape, so when the moving blade is in the middle it’s zero gapped perfectly but when the moving blade is on the right the right side of it becomes closer to the edge of the static blade and the left side of it moves away from the edge, resulting in an uneven cutting, do you know what should I do to fix this problem? Maybe changing the spring can help?

i believe they all move in that super wide angle curve.. i haven't noticed mine being far off from when i gap them...but if you look inside, the hooks are holding at two points and they go left to right, but never a parallel motion. there's a slight curve to it. I've gapped plenty of tools and i havent noticed an issue with it cutting uneven. Do u have another spring to test? did you change anything ? where did u buy from?

I have been using Oster clippers for about 30 years and they are great for the amount of power they have . I think you sold me on buying this clipper

You're upgrading to a good choice. Those are so oudated and i remember using them when i first started out. There's way better options in today's market as far as function, battery, blades, and a lever! LOL This one makes the process just easier overall

@@Staygold31 yes they are outdated, heavy and corded but they cut super crisp and clean. I’ll keep them as a backup . Rushed ordered the Black FXONE this afternoon, they should arrive tomorrow. Really excited to try them out.

Just subbed. Good and helpful content. I start barber school next month. I have a question tho, do you have experience with any other brand other than Babyliss? What are you thoughts on something like the wahl legends? I’ve been cutting my kids hair for a couple years w wahl legends. Best in the game hands down. And just picked up babyliss fx boost plus.

Thank you and welcome!! I’ve used other companies when i started out but around 2016 is when i shifted only to babyliss. It’s what i know most of now and what I’ve mastered ! Its the most innovative when it comes to barbering cutting tools in my opinion from what I’ve seen out there. If you are curious def get a feel for what you’re into..and then you’ll figure out what’s aligned for you. I’ve used plenty of brands to get to the place where i appreciate this company even more. 🥳

Would you recommend the FXONE or the LITHIUMFX for precision neck line trimming? I'm sick of using off the shelf beard trimmers and I want something that cuts clean lines.

For precision neck line trimming - either body style works. You’re probably looking for a blade type which is interchangeable on both. “Z” standard blade … or DLC 2.0 if u have more sensitive skin. 👌🏼

Is there any big difference between these and the fx one lo pros in terms of the motor? Does it mostly just come down to which clipper shape you like?

Same motor and battery etc, it’s the shape you want.

i would say it comes down to preferred shape, design, and then features and blades (since they're interchangeable). FXONE units all have the upgraded motor and new blades and extended levers.

If you don’t bang them against things, they will stay black. LOL Anything metal should not be banging up against anything else in your tool case

Appreciate the response but based on my experience with these matte colors from babyliss is that they chip off fairly easily within weeks with just the clipper brush from removing hair from them, but I did buy the matte black fxone trimmer and so far they are the real deal in paint quality no chip whatsoever in these past months 👌🏽

@@80X5OCAL ok that’s good to hear about the black FXONE! Brushing and fading color def shouldn’t happen in general. It shouldn’t be that sensitive other than getting banged up.

it's molded onto the blade

If you take the blade off, there’s pockets where the cutting blade slides that hold the oil which can keep your blades from running dry
