Stop with the disinformation. Where in the Torah does it state that matrilineal is the way to decide Jewish decent? Matter of fact in the 80s the rabbis voted to change it to matrilineal. Also per Isaiah 56 you don’t need to convert or ask a rabbi permission to attach yourself to the house of Israel. As long as you keep the sabbath and obey the commandments you will be counted and have a place in the house of Israel. The conversion process and permission from rabbis was invented as a method to keep undesirables out of the fold.
