Attended the "More Friends" concert during the week of E3 at the Gibson Amphitheatre ( L.A. ) back in 2005. I remember them rockin' this track with Uematsu. The audience was loving it ^_^

Lol, I don't mind that the solo section is a total Deep Purple rip, DP basically reused that same progression so many times themselves, that it became sort of a thing. I play Highway Star every week (keys here), and it's fun as hell! I can't blame Nobuo for paying tribute to his heroes, and they do it SO WELL. I gotta wonder, Jon Lord didn't die until 2012, wonder if he ever heard this, and what he'd think... probably find it hilarious!
