I am a sociologist with a few courses in anthropology, and I found this extremely interesting. In my professional opinion, what is really needed is a much deeper and much more time than what was covered here. It did answer some questions that came to mind, but, it raised more questions than it answered.

I am an atheist. At first I didn't believe in magic, but when a distant neighbor became blind for no reason, she went to several doctors and they all said she had no eye problems, And then they took her to a religious expert and then her eyes were opened and she could see things. I think the world of magic has the same explanation as the world of quantum physics.

My cousin grandma did black magic (from what the rumors were saying) she always hated our family - jealousy was the main reason and a lot of people said she did some sort of black magic either to make her family superior or either try to put us down but either or, she failed and it back stabbed her and now her precious jewel (her grand daughter- my cousin) ended up with this unknown disease slowly taking her life.

My dad was in indian army. When asked about the authenticity of the ghost and paranormal activities, he told me one of his own stories. Once he was camping during his regular training, he had to sleep along with a couple of other friends at midnight. So they found a flat spot and slept there. In the morning they woke up to realise that was an abandoned cemetery. They start to get a feeling of discomfort when they realise where they were and even one guy got a severe fever. It’s true. Black magic does exist. Someone put it on my mom, on one of her legs. It was going to be both but she didn’t step on an item they put with both legs. She has had problems since and gone through several surgeries but it won’t go away. It always hurts her and she constantly has to deal with it. Soon we will hopefully get help.
