In the US, I once went to a Chinese restaurant in my area for the very first time and had an experience where the owner sat at the table with me to converse. He and his daughter at their restaurant made me feel welcome, and they wanted to join me to practice speaking English. Hi Mike, I’ve found the countryside and small cities the most interesting in China, people are so incredibly friendly. My mandarin is poor so I had limited conversations but had good interactions in Guangdong as my Cantonese is better. Really enjoyed this video !

I would not see what they are saying about my skin complexion as an insult. 😔😔 In America I feel as if they have turned what made us unique into one big insult, which is why one time a white woman, before she gave me a compliment on my skin complexion said "I don't mean to sound racist, but I just love your dark skin complexion" I kindly replied "Ma'am you do not have to apologize before giving me a compliment". I learned that The Government owns the land, just as it does in America 🇺🇸. In America 🇺🇸 if you buy a house 🏠 it's never yours outright. It's owned by the local government authorities. And by paying yearly taxes, and other fees you can keep it. But if you fail to do so for some reason, the Government can then place lien on the property. So you never really own it.
