I always think of black metal as a genre with great melodies which get "dirty" with an enormous distortion, a bass that follows the guitars and makes its tone deeper, and fast loud drums. A mix of pure beauty and pure chaos, such a particular genre...

Acoustic guitar in black metal sounds so good. Wish more groups did it. The ones that immediately come to mind are Dornenreich and Vanhelga.

I'm not too much into that kind of black metal anymore as I tend to need a decent production nowadays to really enjoy it, but presented like this it's beautiful.
