That’s Wayne Henderson. Pretty famous guitar maker. Eric Clapton even had him make one for him

He actually has a really similar tonal quality to Doc Watson. Sounds extra good when playing a tune in tribute to Doc.

If you look closely, you can see picks on his other fingers too. He is basically using single string by using his thumb and index.

Some naive statements here. Jens Kruger is flat out the best banjo player in the world. He's holding back to feature the guitar player, and that's fact!
