Black Myth: WuKong is a third-person action RPG developed by Game Science. If you could read ‘Journey to the West’ before playing the game, it would make the gameplay more interesting. Understanding the Chinese culture behind it is more interesting than simply slaying monsters. Moreover, understanding the deep metaphors behind ‘Journey to the West’ means understanding all of China

There was drama behind the scenes so the whole team has been flying under the radar. They probably intend to sneak release it with minimal gameplay coverage, and build hype on social media after the game has already been released. Remember, 3 years ago before the drama we got nearly 13 min of gameplay footage...I believe it is up to par, they just dont want a certain community coming after them for something in the past.
