One of my favorite black Panther runs is the Man Without Fear storyline where he takes over as hell’s kitchen’s protector. May not be his story line, but I also loved T’Challa’s role in the Avengers Red Zone story arc

Does it make sense to not recast T'Challa/Black Panther since the passing of Chadwick Bozeman due to the fact that T'Challa was bigger character than Shuri in the comics? Who knows what Black Panther 3 is going to be like without T'Challa Black Panther instead we get his son who has the same name as him? Do you think Damson Idris would have been the best choice to play T'Challa Black Panther?

Awesome and perfect time to recast Tchalla in the MCU.. not a jr replacement.. the Tchalla.. let's not let Tchalla's history end with Chadwick Bosemans death.. give another black actor a chance to give his take on Tchalla.. like James Bond, the Joker, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man etc.. fictional characters don't have to die forever.

Dare I say black panther and guardians of the galaxy are super heroes that was made famous by movies rather than comics? Sure the MCU made all of the feature superheroes/villians more mainstream but I think prior to their movies, they were almost unknown outside big comic fans.

I would say more so for the guardians than black panther not saying the movie didn’t boost his popularity because it did but he was definitely known especially since he’s the first black superhero in comics plus if you add the fact they had been trying to get a black panther movie made since the 90s with Wesley snipes to play him. The guardians on the other hand were so unknown at one point that not even comic book readers knew about them. This adds to the reason before the movies the guardians comic book runs would always get cancelled because no one read them compared to black panther

@breslinhoward6992 i think first memory of black panther was when he was featured in 1990s Spiderman cartoon. Thought he was bootleg marvel batman. But never heard of Peter quill until the movie

I got an idea! Reboot the entire black panther series, give the rights of the character to another company and make it an tv series with all of this story liens from the video in the show. There! Fixed it!

What would happen if we saw T'Challa and his sister Shuri both of them as the Black Panther fighting alongside each other? Which Black Panther movie is better between Black Panther 1 focusing on T'Challa as the Black Panther or Black Panther Wakanda Forever focusing on Shuri as the Black Panther?

in FF52 the skin color of all the african characters appears to be ashen / gray not shades of brown. i know that problem of mis-- coloring plagued the first hulk comics

Killmonger defeated T'challa to become Black Panther but didn't kill him. T'Challa continued to rule as King while Killmonger served as Black Panther, and was even an Avenger for a hot second!

He wasn't an actual Black Panther my guy, as he was never blessed by Bast. He just wore a costume.

@kuroichikuromaru6340 True, and in that vein Erik wasn't an official Avenger either as the team never truly accepted him. But I'm speaking functionally. He was indeed leader of the Panther tribe for a time (while T'Challa served only as King), and fought alongside the Avengers (and Deadpool, weirdly). Then yes, when he tried to complete the ritual it "killed" him. So he was legitimized politically (ritual combat) but not spiritually (heart shaped herb). Can I at least call him... "Half" Panther? 😇

I don’t know the names of the storylines per say, but anytime T’Challa engages in a grudge match with Namor, those were epic stories too. That beef is one of the best in comics.

Which one of these Black Panther comics do you think is the best as well should be adapted into the MCU and who's the best character from each of them?
