@TeslaElectricCars
@TeslaElectricCars 3 жыл бұрын
@@SlimKim3 bro relax, getting therapy is an exaggeration on MBJs part. His character was not so dark and twisted as say, a Hannibal Lecter, Joker, American Psycho, that he would need threapy from playing it. His character had no dark mystery, just an angry character that was pissed at his father's death and wanted vengance. Thats the equivalence of Keanu Reeves getting therapy from acting as John Wick. How crazy does that sound? Y'all are overhyping his character. If he really got therapy from just acting as an angry hateful character (not a demonized/possessed character, or a psychopatic character, but just an angry character), then his acting abilities are not as great as people hype him up to be.
@SlimKim3
@SlimKim3 3 жыл бұрын
@@TeslaElectricCars Your telling me to relax after writing that mini essay full of misguided points? Yea take your own advice hun. It wasn't about His character being dark he felt that killmonger was a very lonely person so to capture that he decided to become lonely and cut himself off of loved ones. This was nothing like Keanu Reeves. Losing his wife wasn't the trigger killing his newly on puppy and stealing his car was all in the time frame of a couple days as a grown man. Eric went through life from a kid with a dead dad and having nobody, 2 totally different situations. Going to great lengths to bring the best out of a character is great acting and he nailed it.

@@123456789103303 It's also important to note when they say "He's not one of us." Even though he's Wakandan, he was raised and grew up in America, therefore he shares American ideals. That's what they mean when they say "He's not one of us." He doesn't share their values and he was not raised there. @skrubknight884 3 жыл бұрын
yeah, they both have good points Killmonger is well within his right to call out Wakandans for hoarding such amazing technology and information to themselves, refusing to help or acknowledge the problems of the outside world unless it threatens them directly. He also remains bitter for T'Chaka's poor handling of N'Jobu's betrayal(done with the same motive) and his killing. In his eyes, Wakanda advanced because of its absolute power it wielded and that same power could be used to advance the rest of the world. However T'Challa notices and points out that in his rage and violent tendencies, Killmonger has become of a hypocrite of his own ideals and planned future. T'Challa is also very much in the right for refusing to reveal Wakanda's secrets simply on the basis of race. They haven't been exposed to racism and thus don't feel unity by race or history. The problems of the world are their own that they must solve on their own, and Wakanda is still a small country that has prospered where other countries struggled mainly because an exceptional warrior united most of the warring tribes early on(even then 1 of the five tribes still is in a mildly tense cease-fire with them), with the peace and single-mindedness allowing for them to advance. They are hardly in any sort of a position to play God and meddle in the affairs of others expecting anything good to come of it, especially with such force. As for Vibranium itself, well, Klaue and Ultron are very stark, fresh, and harsh reminders of what can happen when Vibranium leaves the close regulation of Wakanda. In the end though, T'Challa does take some of what Killmonger said to heart and compromises. He does not directly intervene, but instead opens the knowledge, guidance and technology of wakanda up to the world, peacefully, to those who ask for it, hoping that this approach is the best that can be taken to promote lasting change and improvement.

Well, it's pretty justified. Yes, the king may be challenged for the throne but only by an actual member of Wakandan society. As far as they knew, Killmonger was just some outsider of dubious Wakandan descent who thought he could just walk in and demand the throne on those grounds; the idea is laughable to them.

One reason I really like Killmonger and Michael B Jordan's acting in this movie is that even without the exposition you can see who Erik Killmonger is. He acts like a kid from Oakland, he speaks like an educated man (PhD in Engineering and MBA from MIT in the comics which was confirmed in What If?), and he carries himself like a soldier. Really great acting to portray all of that.

He's (Michael P. Jordan) has always been a great actor. Most guys w/in this chat relate to him because he added a little STREET, AKA THUGGISH characteristics to his character when confronted the TRUE King of Wakanda who had MERCY on him. Being said, The Royal facts are as follows; Killmonger was NOT a Prince to the Throne, nor did he or his father have RIGHTS to the Throne. 👑King T'Chaka has a Son by the name of Prince 👑T'Challa who IS next in line to be King by his BIRTH RIGHT when his father dies. Even 👑Princess Zuri has Rights to the Throne in her father death IF her brother, the Real Prince dies, because she can Marry, and that's IF her mother doesn't REMARRY as 👑Queen of Wakanda. He can however, challenge to be The Black Panther, He'll, any tribe of Wakanda could 😂. Killmonger's father was a DUKE or yes, a Prince, but his BROTHER is King and his brother has a SON... SO, he has NO RIGHTS to the Throne Yibambe ⚔️. This is why many DUKES killed their brothers and their children then marry their brothers wife or kill her too so THEY CAN be KING. #RoyalFacts 💯

Probably only for one or two years more. With Chadwick passing and the mantle of Black Panther being passed on to others, this movie will quickly be forgotten. Maybe someone who digs MCU movies will talk about it every now and then, but not as much as you imagined it to be
